Worst customer service I’ve ever had. My mother and I came in to return some items that we had gotten for a Christmas gift because they didn’t fit right. We weren’t even acknowledged until we got to the counter and said excuse me we have a return well one of the items tag wasn’t on it so the young woman complained that now it was going to take her longer to figure out where it was on the receipts we then apologized for the inconvenience. Then with a pair of pants we heard her mumble under her breath that “they had been washed” when they had not. My mom tried them on & that is it. Then we finally get everything returned and she gives us a gift card. Well my mom decided she was going to find herself a nice pair of blue jeans and as were walking through the store looking for pants we can hear this woman in the back saying negative hateful things and mocking my mom. Needless to say my mom was so upset that she put all of the items down that she had wanted and we left. I am very angry. We will not be back to...

Honestly I WANT to like Cato's, but the store itself is... well... shabby. Displays are completely haphazard and I got the impression that the only real "sorting" that they did was "men, women, children, household, accessories." It was more like digging through thrift store bins than shopping. If the store were better organized, I would have given 5 stars, but to me having a poor store appearance/ product display really makes...

No greetings from storeclerk as I entered store. She was on her cell phone behind the cashwrap just ignoring me. Was in the store for about 10 minutes.
