Four Paws on the Beach — Local services in Cannon Beach

Read this review!!! Found my new favorite pet store on the coast. Four Paws was open when the other pet stores nearby were closed. I like to treat my pup every time we visit the coast and this store made me go a bit overboard my last trip 😂 I got in the store a couple minutes before their closing time, but the owner, Matt, was super friendly and allowed us to shop around. He then used his own measuring tape to help me size my pup for a sweater. I purchased the sweater and a treat and then went down the street for dinner. I realised that the sweater I bought seemed a little too big (my fault because I didn't try other sizes)... So I called the store (30 minutes after they closed), and Matt still answered the phone. I explained and asked if I could come back to try on a smaller size. We ran back to the store and the smaller one fit perfectly and he let me exchange them with no problems. The next day we were walking around downtown Cannon Beach and decided to go in again. I saw a harness I really liked for my dog and bought that along with some more treats; again with the help of Matt showing me how to get the right size harness. I know tons of dogs visit the Oregon Coast, so if you take your pup down there make this the local pet store you choose to support. This guy is awesome and my shy, timid dog loved him. We went in yesterday to shop for treats and received the worst customer service from 2 staff. They seemed to be doing inventory. We received no hello, no can I help you, nothing. We said we were ready and it seemed to be a hardship for them to get up and to ring up our treats. Having been in there before, our dog knew there were treats by the counter. She was patiently waiting until I had to ask the woman if she could have a treat. Again, it seemed we were bothering her. It is AMAZING!!! We Love the store! Our Frenchtons loved going in and got treats. Every time we walked past they want to go inside. We got great tee shirts and hats, dog treats and toys! We actually went to the new Four Paws in Seaside on Boardwalk. I could not find it on line to review probably because they just opened up. I am pretty sure all the Four Paws stores are a must stop and get goodies for you and your four legged...
