Hands down my favorite bookstore on the coast. (And there are some really good ones along here, so that's saying something.) I've never failed to find books in this carefully-curated inventory that are life changing or beautiful or meaningful to me in some way, and the staff is awesome at helping pick out exactly what you might like. There are readings and author signings and just a generally incredible number of events that go on here, and I love the creaky, seaside look of the place, too. Just thinking about it makes me want to go curl up and read....or drive down to the coast and go find my next...

I was recently on vacation in CB and stumbled into this adorable bookstore on a walk! I was pleasantly surprised how many science, nature, feminist, and morbidity/curiosity books were available. I could’ve spent hours looking at the selection. I came back the next day after pondering buying a book- I had been eyeing All The Living and The Dead by Hayley Campbell. When I came in to purchase it, Cami and I had a great conversation- and she kindly recommended more morbid reads for me! She was so friendly and kind. Our first time to this bookstore it was pouring rain and the shop was practically empty, that was three years ago. We bought our first book together as a married couple. I'm glad I remembered the name of the place and we were able to come back on a beautiful sunny but breezy day. This bookstore was packed and yet cool from the ocean air. It's a the perfect place to stop and grab a good read for the beach. They have a beautiful selection and even if they don't have what you're looking for they are more than willing to...
