Mariner Market — Local services in Cannon Beach

One of the cleanest all-in-one markets in the Cannon Beach area Our family visited Cannon Beach this summer to have a family vacation. Though Airbnb and food were expensive in this area, this market has reasonably fair-priced food, groceries, and other things that you need during vacation time (such as first-aid, OCT medications, etc).

Pros Up to date! Let me tell you something. When you go to most local markets in a vacation resort, you find so many products, food, and drinks that are expired or defective. Not this market! I saw two workers continuously checking the expiration dates and sorting out any defective products/food/drinks. My wife and I were very impressed. Cleanness. Never judge a book by its cover! The building is not a new modernly built building (pretty sure the building is at least 10-15 yrs old lol). And you also may think that you would smell some of that 'old wood smell'. However, everything about this market is clean clean clean! The staff is nice and welcoming. They greeted all customers in a kind manner and were willing to help. The food is good. They have a small deli shop inside the market. The price is fair, the portion is good, good quality, and the taste is good! Location. Though Cannon Beach is a relatively small vacation town, this market is located in the heart of town! Varieties. They literally have everything lol! I mean everything!

Cons Hours. I mean the short opening hours are understandable the fact that the market is not located in busy urban areas like LA or NY (I live in LA). Also, Cannon Beach is a kind of family-oriented vacation resort where most tourists would go to sleep early(?). None

Overall, 10/10 market!!! I genuinely don't think you will be disappointed or displeased with...

This place is not just a hidden gem.. it's a treasure trove of essentials and comforts to suit any need. A variety of food selections from snacks to core groceries makes this little market the best spot in Cannon Beach to shop for your weekend getaway or road trip drive through restock spot!

The Market itself has great prices and cordial staff.. but the Deli is the reason why this review is being written. We had such a great experience I was determined to talk about it! The woman who helped us was absolutely the most courteous person we've ever encountered at the coast. She was friendly and not in the disingenuously fake kind of friendly that you typically encounter. I felt like she genuinely wanted to make sure I was ordering exactly what I wanted.

Sable got a fresh spinach wrap with literally every vegetable that she was able to select on the menu. "Life Changing" was her description. And trust me.. she's a vegan... it's not something I hear from her when it comes to food. She loved it so much that we HAD to go back to get "one for the road!".

I snagged some chicken flautas and jo-jo's for good measure. The food was not only perfectly cooked, it was freshly pulled from the fryer or just kept at the perfect hold temperature.. I honestly couldn't tell which.. I just knew it was perfect.

We were able to pay right at the deli which made the transaction quick, easy and enjoyable! We will definitely be coming back every single time we head through Cannon Beach.

This is a catch-all type market; the kind you hope for in a beach vacation town. It is stocked to the rafters with EVERYTHING you could need or might have forgotten at home. In many cases there is a nice selection of options including conventional and natural/organic options, including food and body care items. The shelves were overflowing, and the dtocj team was working in overdrive to keep them that way during the end of summer rush. This made it a little crowded in the store, but that's better than them not having what you need...
