I took my ring to get cleaned last week. When I picked it up I was told “I should really make sure that my ring was from this store.” (Apparently the owners to do not “remember” my ring). I felt humiliated, my husband took so much pride in my ring and his choice (he purchased it soon after being discharged from the military), the day after he proposed we literally drove by the jeweler so he could show me where he got my ring. This was in 2016. Even to this day, whenever we drive past the store we say “that’s where you got my ring!” Maybe my ring was not recognized because the wedding bands are from a different store, but the primary ring was custom made by Paul. My husband even shared with me that Paul was so excited when he chose this ring because it had been sitting in the case for a very long time and no one was interested. Paul and his wife, Helen, were so welcoming. I spoke with Paul and explained what my idea was. I wanted to combine my Husband’s, who recently passed away, wedding band, with my ring. Paul explained all of the pros/cons of the different ways he could do what I was hoping. We set a game plan and I left.

I needed help changing my new Fitbit Versa 2 bands and I called Paul's. They allowed me to make an appointment for the next day (Corona). Both Paul and the woman (his wife, maybe?) were very helpful and friendly. We all wore masks and he took off my older band and put my new one on. It only took minutes. I was very impressed and so happy! I asked what I owed them and they both responded "Nothing." I was shocked! I said "You guys have to make a living. Please let me pay." They wouldn't.
