Zap Zone Glo-Golf — Attraction in Canton Township

I was very disappointed with my daughter’s party. While she had fun, it was very disorganized, and our party went over 1 hour due to bad timing and party hosts. The first strike was not hearing from the venue until the day before her party. I’m used to venues reaching out about a week prior to finalize details and billing. Half of my daughter’s party left so they couldn’t enjoy the full party because of how long the party went on. We were being called to the three activities way later than discussed at the beginning of the party. The party hosts are all young kids, and they were nice don’t get me wrong, but they were so unprofessional. Our party room was moved at the last minute, to an even smaller room and it was super HOT in there. My dad asked for us to be moved to another room because the room we had was so tiny none of the adults could sit as their kids played. I was also over charged, I was given one receipt from my party host and misplaced it so I went to the front to pay and they added on $50 to my bill. By that time, I’ve been at zap zone for 3 ½ hours for a 2 hour party and said forget it and paid. I will NEVER return to this location again. I was better off going to Taylor. I will make sure to tell all my friends and family to skip this...

My son celebrated his 10th birthday at Zap Zone in Canton. He and his friends had a fantastic time together there! We rented one of the party rooms and had pizza, pop and pretzel bites which all the kids loved. I also brought in a cake and ice cream cups which they allowed me to store in their freezer until needed. It was so nice having the private room for everyone to hang out in for food, cake and to open gifts. The kids had a blast playing all the arcade games and doing the attractions like laser tag and glow golf. Their favorite was the new pixel floor! (They’ve made some upgrades and changes there recently which looked great!) I was 100% happy with how everything went that day and most importantly my son told me he absolutely loved his party! I’d like to thank the manager, Tyler, who was kind and helpful and really wonderful to work with when I booked the party. Glow golf was fairly expensive for what it was. What it was, was: there's hole 4, an unlabeled hole, then hole 7. Another unlabeled hole between 11 and 12. So, in total, there are 18 holes. Just not labeled or in order. Also carpet coming up in places, and dirty everywhere. The light ropes around the borders of each hole were coming off / apart in places and actually can affect the path of your ball. One spot even had loose wires coming out of the light ropes literally 6" from the actual hole. There is no paper score card, if you want the score card you have to scan a QR code and pull your phone out at the end of every hole to keep score digitally.

We did not partake in any of the other activities, however, just looking at them... The arcade games looked decent, if basic. But the Lazer tag and bumper car rooms, each can't be more than 10' x 10'. I honestly don't understand how anyone can enjoy either of those activities with literally no room to move at all.
