I moved to Canton a few months ago and have really enjoyed shopping at Home Goods Canton! Terri Lanier is very kind and professional to the customers. She will help you find what you need without acting bothered. She works very hard on the floor and at the register yet she always wears a smile when the customer needs something. I bought heavy furniture one day and Terri got an umbrella and helped me load up my car in heavy rainfall. I didn’t even ask for help so I don’t know how she noticed I needed help and got that umbrella. I am sincerely grateful for the way she treats customers like we are family. Tyler is another amazing employee. Tyler is young but very mature and professional. He helped me carry my heavy wall hangings and even loaded them in my car. He has an amazing attitude and is so sweet. I must mention I have never been disappointed with the quality of the products.All the staff have always been helpful and I love my shopping experience at Home Goods Canton! Had a horrible experience today with one of the managers at this store Lucy. Wanted to purchase a painting by there was visible damage small marks on the frame. She never looked me in the eye during our entire interaction and argued with me about the size of the scratch’s and said there barley noticeable. She said I will take $2 off…. That was an offensive offer when they usually take 10%. She was so rude so I took that and the employee ringing me up had to apologize for her. The irony in the big $2 off was when I got home and took the padded corner protectors one side was distorted completely broken. I now have to pay to get the painting reframed 😣 because all sales are final. Homegoods was my happy place for many years now i have a sour taste in my mouth because of the management team at this location. I felt I was treated unfair and Lucy really should be taught proper management...

Worse experience I had right now, I just witness how a grown up woman mistreated a 17 year old girl because she is “the manager” of this place, she screamed at her and disrespected her in front of me and she made her cried, this is unacceptable, she is unprofessional and should not be a manager to this place or to any other place, I don’t know her name but she is from Colombia, I’m Hispanic and is so embarrassing for me to see someone from my culture act this way! She is mistreating a under age, to witness this with my family it was so unpleasant, I have always buy in this place I come here at least once a week but I will not be coming here again, how can this place have people like this woman working there? She is a bad human being, that’s definitely not the home goods experience that I was expecting. God bless that girl and hope she finds...
