Vintage Stock — Local services in Cape Girardeau

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Vintage Stock... I love browsing the movies, games, and collectibles. But after my recent experience, I’m seriously questioning whether I’ll ever come back.

I brought in around 60 DVDs to trade in... all in good condition and many of them decent, popular titles. I wasn’t expecting a fortune, but I was absolutely shocked (and insulted) when I was offered just over $1 in cash or a little over $2 in store credit. For 60 movies? That’s barely a few cents each.

I get that resale value isn’t high for DVDs these days, but this felt like a joke. The offer was so low it was borderline disrespectful. It left a really bad taste in my mouth, and I’m not sure I’ll be giving Vintage Stock any more of my business after this.

Such an amazing store with such amazing products, some of the items at this store are in pristine condition and in way better shape than Gaming Grounds and GameStop. Already bought some PS2 and PS3 Game to relive my childhood and couldn't be happier. Thank you...

The older gentleman at the store today creeped my children out. He was wearing an Ozzy Osbourne shirt, and reeked of marijuana. I normally wouldn't have an issue with this, but it was how he was acting to my children is what made me feel uneasy. 10/10...
