Castelli Fashions is a great place to go if you are looking for new suit. It’s not just a shop, it’s an experience. The owner, Roberto Castelli, is a true professional who takes pride in what he does and offers great customer service. I happened to be looking for a suit and just came across his shop as I was walking through the mall. When I came in, he explained how he offered suits in a few different price ranges depending on fabric quality, and at each higher tier, he threw in different extras. At the base level, you get a shirt, tie, and pocket square thrown in along with the suit. At the next level, you get all that and a pair of shoes. And I think the highest level gets you all that and a dress for your girlfriend! Roberto sized me up for a jacket by sight, and I was surprised that he suggested a 46 because other salespeople had sized me at 42 or 44. That probably explains why I could never seem to find a jacket that fit me well. Roberto had me try on some jackets and did some measurements, and it turned out I was between a 44 and 46, but the 46 fit much better in the shoulders and chest. He then marked the jacket for altering to take it in at the waist. He then had me try on pants and marked them for some alterations too. And get this. The alterations are included in the price! You won’t find that anywhere. I left that day with the shirt, tie, and pocket square, and on top of all that, he let me pick three items from shelves of Italian goods that he has in one corner. There were different dry pastas, sauces, Pellegrino, etc. I went home with some spaghetti, sauce, and a blood orange Pellegrino along with my clothes and waited for the alterations on the suit to be finished. Today, just over a week later, Roberto texted that my suit was ready. I went in, tried it on, and it fit wonderfully and looked great. I cannot express enough my satisfaction with the whole experience. Roberto is a charming, personable man who offers well-made clothes at a great price with alterations included and some wonderful extras thrown in on top. I can’t recommend his shop highly enough, and I will definitely be back when I need some other dress wear. Give...
Read moreI went to Castelli's looking for a suit for my wedding, and had a wonderful experience. Mr. Castelli was super welcoming and knowledgable, and gave me a great deal on a hand-stitched Italian suit, plus shoes, shirt, and tie. It was really nice to be able to take care of everything in one place.
I initially went to Suit Supply in San Jose to look into getting a custom suit, but I decided to check out Castelli's before making a decision. I'm really glad I did, because I found the fabric quality to be much nicer, and the fact that the suits are hand stitched in Italy is really nice.
The process was very simple: on my first visit Mr. Castelli took my measurements, and had me try on a few different suit types and colors. Once I chose one, Mr. Castelli placed the order, and it came in a week or so later. I then came back in for another fitting, and he took it over to his tailor. It came back a few days later, I tried everything on, and took it home. Very easy!
If you're in the market for a high-quality suit, definitely visit Mr. Castelli before you make a final decision.
He also offers a deal for the groomsmen to get suits, in case they don't...
Read moreGreat service here! Roberto was out of town when I came in, so his right hand man Maurice led me through the process. He was able to fix me up with the perfect suit to match my budget, and also filled me in on the different styles I might go for based on my event; which was a Casino Royale themed charity auction I was hosting. In the ed the suit looked great, fit perfectly, and was very well received by the people at the event. 5 star service all the way! I also got to meet Roberto when I came back in to pick up the suit, and along with being very cordial and entertaining, he offered to steam my wrinkly shirt I was holding, so I didn't need to spend extra money at the dry cleaners. Oh, and did I mention that along with your purchase you get to choose from an array of Italian treats from the side wall. I chose a bag of premium coffee(delicious), and he also through in a bar of chocolate from a 125 year old italian candy company(also delicious!). Again, 5 star service from both Maurice and Roberto. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to get a great suit at a great deal. I'll definitely be back...
