This review is to acknowledge and thank Rafael, inside the Capitola Mall. When I called to check if my ring was back (I sent it out to be resized) I was told I would get a call back by a young female that answered my call. An hour later, no call back. When I called again, Rafael answered the phone in a very professional manner and proceeded to check if my ring had arrived. He had informed me it had NOT arrived, and I informed him the woman who took my order (and the receipt) stated it would be ready for pick up that specific day, and that I would be getting married the next day, so I kind of needed it. He then again put me on hold and shortly informed me they had just received more repairs in that moment and it would take him some time to look for. After waiting 30 minutes on the phone (which I did not mind) he informed me it had arrived. I rushed down to the store as it was closing in 15 minutes. After paying the service fee, he then demonstrated me the wrong ring (accidents happen, we’re human) after explaining to him what my ring looked like, he proceeded to look for it and a few minutes later, my ring was found! He also cleaned 2 other rings for my partner and I while we waited. Rafael, thank you so much! The customer service world needs more people like you. I really appreciate you going above and beyond and making sure I had my ring for my wedding. I made this young man go on a wild goose chase for my ring and he DELIVERED! Thank you so much...

Seriously, I think she might have a photographic memory or some kind of customer-service superpower. I was just walking through the mall today, not even shopping for jewelry, and she still remembered me! That level of attentiveness is rarer than the diamonds in the case.

Ester is professional, knowledgeable, and super friendly—like, the kind of friendly where you feel like a high roller, even if you’re just browsing. She follows up like a pro, making sure I got exactly what I wanted last time, and now I can’t imagine shopping anywhere else.

I looked all over Santa Cruz county and surrounding areas for a gold turtle or dragonfly charm for my wife's birthday, and couldn't find either anywhere. I called about 14 more jewelry stores from Los Gatos down to South of Aptos, and no luck. Finally, I called Don Roberto in the Macy's mall in Capitola, and they had two turtle charms and a dragonfly charm in gold!
