Mike recently installed a solar heating system for our pool and we ARE SO GLAD we did it! Mike came out personally to give us a bid, offerred a few ideas to upgrade our system but didn't hard sell. In fact, he let us know where our budget would best reap big rewards and we were able to keep our existing pump system. He installed in a short period of time and was very professional. I was concerned that we would still need to suplement with our gas heater as I like a warm pool. We haven't had the gas heater on at all since we got our solar installed and the pool is maintained at 84 to 90 degrees! The hot tub got up to 106 degrees to our surprise. All with just solar. We had a pump go bad just days before a Family event at our swimming pool. Through a friend's recommendation, I got in touch with Mike at Surf City Pool Spa and Solar. I sent a video of the poorly working pump to Mike and he immediately diagnosed the repair/replacement and relative costs, then he set up a time to bring all the necessary parts and equipment to get the job completed. Mike actually called with a break in his schedule to come over earlier than planned (very rarely happens these days).
