Purchased furniture from the Carmel Arhaus. The white glove service did not occur with my experience not only did they cancel the appointment when I traveled 7 house to accept the furniture when they delivered it two days later they damaged my venetian plaster walls, marble floating stairwell and some of the furniture, the truck leaked oil on my paver stone driveway, and it turned out that they are not employee's of Arhaus but are contracted, and it turns out that the delivery company does not have insurance to cover the damage. You might also want to Google/Yelp Ryder Last Mile and see their reviews. You might also want to review the Yelp reviews for Arhaus (2 stars) and compare my story with the stories of other customers. Now the really bad news, Arhaus agreed to give me a refund and were to pick up the furniture on a specific date so again I drove up to Carmel (7 hours) they were told they needed 3 men, and insurance listing me as a additional insured on the policy well they show up with two men, not able to provide me with the requested insurance and after looking at the furniture they said they would need to come back at a later date with a third man. On 3.29.22 I received a text from Ryder last Mile confirming my appointment for 3.30.2022 between 8:30-10:30 so I drove up again, no one showed up and when I sent an email they said they were sorry. over 60 hours of my time wasted, they still have my money even though I have been here every time they claim they are going to pick it up.
Arhaus promises you the world but the bottom line is they just don't care, they have not refunded my money, I have showed up on several occasions on their promises to deliver or pick up the merchandise. NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMERS TIME PROMISE TO GET BACK TO YOU WITHIN 24 HOURS...
Read moreRun as far as you can from this place. Ordered a sectional from Arhaus. Waited 6 months for delivery. First Delivery attempt. They never showed at the scheduled time. Second delivery attempt "white glove delivery" tried delivering the sectional incomplete with the wrong parts so we refused the deliver. Third delivery attempt. Sectional showed up damaged. Decided that we didn't want to wait another 6 months for a replacement sofa, so we canceled the order. We are still dealing with them trying to get a delivery fee. Run, run as fast as you can from this company. Customer service is horrible. Wife has made probably a dozen phone calls to get this all straightened out. Still no luck. Reporting them to the BBB. May have to get lawyers involved to get this taken care of.
This is my reply to Arhaus's reply. My wife has talked to multiple people through the company and has never been able to get this resolved. We have been told the problem has been taken care of multiples times. The last time my wife talked to Arhaus was on 1/16/22 and was told the delivery fee would be waived. They have now sent us to collations for $250 delivery fee for something we never received. We have now contacted the Better Business Bureau to get this resolved. Anyone looking at purchasing anything from Arhaus should check the complaints on the BBB website. This company's customer service...
Read moreIf I could give this company no stars I would. My complaint isn't with the showrooms but with the post purchase costumer service and product quality. We chose Arhaus for their design aesthetic and also the fact that their products were made in America. We constructed a large outdoor covered patio and needed a sofa, four swivel club chairs, four bar stools, a dining table and 10 dining chairs. The Hampton table had strange bubbles on the top that when they popped they revealed the unfinished wood underneath, The concierge service was great about replacing it. The new table has a bubble on it already. The sofa collapsed in the middle and the Arhaus contractor found that none of the springs were attached. The cushions were smashed down. Arhaus replaced it. Then the fabric on the Devon chair slip covers became full of holes...it seems it really isn't an out door fabric. Naasira, the concierge manager, claimed it must have been an animal and wouldn't replace them. So I guess the animal hopped over the Serena and Lily side chairs and ate one end chair, then hopped over and ate the other? come on! Terrible... I bet they end up going out of business.
