Oh boy, where do I even begin? Our family had the most epic and dough-licious experience at King Dough Restaurant! From the moment we stepped foot in this recently opened gem, we knew we were in for a treat. Let me take you on a mouthwatering journey of our visit.

First things first, the atmosphere at King Dough is delightfully casual. It's the kind of place where you can kick back, relax, and let your taste buds do the happy dance. The rustic yet modern vibes set the perfect tone for a laid-back dining experience with the fam.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food! As we perused the menu, our eyes widened with excitement. The options were simply irresistible. We decided to indulge in their famous wood-fired pizzas, and oh my cheesy goodness, we were blown away! Each bite was a burst of flavors that sent our taste buds into a frenzy. The crust was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and topped with the most heavenly combinations of ingredients.

Our little ones were over the moon with the good-for-kids offerings. The menu catered to their picky palates and had them gobbling up every last slice. And speaking of kids, the staff at King Dough went above and beyond to make them feel welcome. They even brought out some coloring sheets and crayons to keep them entertained while we savored every bite.

The service was top-notch, too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and had a knack for making us feel like pizza royalty. They seamlessly accommodated our needs, whether it was takeout for a quick bite on the go or a leisurely dine-in experience. Plus, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the dough-tastic goodness.

And let's not forget about dessert! The sweet offerings at King Dough were the icing on the pizza, quite literally. We indulged in some sinfully delicious treats that had us in dessert heaven. The perfect ending to a truly memorable meal.

Overall, our visit to King Dough Restaurant was an absolute blast. The combination of fantastic food, family-friendly atmosphere, and outstanding service made it an experience we won't soon forget. So, if you're looking for a place to enjoy a quick bite or indulge in a leisurely lunch or dinner, King Dough is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Very disappointing experience at King Dough Carmel. For anyone coming here with a food allergy or dietary restriction be very very cautious. My daughter has celiac disease, a very serious autoimmune disease making her unable to have gluten. We usually don’t eat out with her BUT we had heard the owner was a celiac and that they use a separate oven for GF pizza so we were hopeful. I called and spoke with manager before we came in and she assured me that they do use separate oven and would take precautions. When we arrived I spoke to manager and he assured me they have GF crust and that he would make sure her pizza was not contaminated. I felt very confident in allowing her to eat at King Dough after the manager confirmed their great GF practices. Unfortunately within an hour after eating, my daughter became super ill- vomiting violently- which is her classic symptom after being contaminated. GF people- be warned!!! We will never be back.

Update* I called restaurant today to inform them of mishap- hoping to prevent this from happening to someone else. They offered an apology- no...

By far one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. I came in with a party of 3. We waited atheist 15 minutes before anyone came to greet us. We all ordered. Two people in my party ordered wings and salads each. I ordered a pizza. We also ordered the cheese sticks as an appetizer. Well 20 minutes later the food started to come out. The Cesar salad that was ordered tasted funny, her naked wings were good, my other friends wing smelled like dirty feet, she questioned it and was tomd it was suppose to smell like that,. We then got the mozzarella sticks, those tasted great. Well they are done eating and I am still waiting on my pizza, the server come checks on use several times and never once said anything about my pizza Well I asked and he went to check, after 10 minutes I went to talk to a manager and asked what was going on, She went to check on it. She's came and told me it will be out soon that they are making it now. I told her not to bother. I just sat there for an hour and half and never got anything to eat. Server could of cared less. This...

We were visiting Carmel and my girlfriend was checking out gluten free places online. The reviews said that this place had fluffy gluten free crusts and that made her excited so we stopped there. The crust was anything but puffy. It looked like the usual flat gluten free crusts you get anywhere. Not worth the $22 for a 14”. I could tell she was disappointed but she did not want to make an issue of it. I ordered the Cheesy bread and my pizza had a ton of air bubbles around the edges. We waited over 30 minutes to get the two pizzas when there were just 3 other people inside. It seemed like they were doing about 14 some other pickup orders before us. We only saw our server at the beginning and the end. Just not a great place, especially for the price.

What happened to their pizza? This used to be a favorite place for pizza, but so disappointing with sausage so heavily coated on it that you couldn’t even pick it up or taste any other ingredients. The server seemed bored and uninterested in his job. The website showed specials, but when I asked about them, he said it was only valid at the downtown restaurant. Why doesn’t the website indicate that? The place was empty and now I know why. This used to be a crowded pizza spot, but with the direction it’s heading, it wouldn’t surprise me if they will be out of business in a year. There are way too many pizza choices to settle for mediocre.

Overall I was very happy with our pizza experience here. They have a solid variety of pizzas to choose from, but we decided on the destroyer which was super tasty, especially with the hot honey on it. I do wish the beer selection was a bit larger, but they did have a few local craft beers on tap at least. Service was friendly and we got our pizza relatively quickly despite it being a Friday night. The place itself is pretty cool, with a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating. My biggest gripe is that prices felt a bit high, but the pizza was tasty enough to make up for that. Definitely give this place a shot if you're a pizza fan.
