Very cute place to shop for gifts! Staff is friendly and location is great. Things here are a bit expensive, which is understandable for some items but others are obscenely expensive (I'm a college student). Maybe a wider selection of more economical gifts would be cool. They also offered to wrap my gifts which was a pleasant surprise! Overall great, cute place! Will definitely be back again. Holding back that last star for going above and beyond: perhaps wrapping my gifts (I spent $60+), wouldn't cost the store too much and would be a huge upgrade. I just need something extra to justify the price range. also I love the name! You really find a little of this and some of that haha!

When you want a gift for someone and don't want to go to the mall but rather have a personal and meaningful search yielding the PERFECT item for the occasion? This is that store. From gorgeous glassworks and pottery to hair ties, beaded jewelry, garden art and bottle openers. Hand stained wooden utensils in beautiful colors, books, handmade cards, musical chimes and puzzle boxes. This & That have done the most wonderful job curating a space that will fill you up to be there. Can't wait to visit again.

This & That Gift Gallery is a one of a kind treasure in down town Carrboro! They have everything from one of a kind locally made art pieces to unique items for your home, kitchen and life. Specialty gourmet foods, jewelry, books and the sweetest children’s items too! There’s always great music playing and a fun local atmosphere. The owners Joy and Paul could not be kinder or more thoughtful people. It’s a pleasure to hunt for gifts and treasures in their shop!
