Clientele who tend to have poor manners and little or no consideration for other patrons. * Many female patrons seem to actively dislike men, and for a straight guy who is looking to socialize with women, this can tend to be not much fun. Some of the bartenders are glacially slow and they act like they are doing you a favor to get you a drink. To be fair, a couple of the bartenders are excellent. * Lousy seating and poorly arranged furniture that causes traffic jams. * Nasty worn-out pool table that is crowded against the wall so many shots are difficult or impossible to make. Seating placed too close to the pool table puts pool players in the position of constantly having to ask people to move so they can make a shot. * Possible upside : If you want to take a person on the very last date you ever go on with them because you plan to dump them, this place could be perfect ! * Some of the "regulars" seem to drink enough alcohol that they behave in an extremely coarse manner. I would never take a date I wanted to impress to this bar, because of this. * Bottom line : people who like a dive bar, or people whose intent is to get drunk and hang out with other drunks may like this place, but if you like a place that has some class, or a clientele which behaves with manners, there are other bars which would be better choices. Maybe this review can save some out-of-town people from an unpleasant evening. I paid for 2 memberships when I first moved here and the bartender was really laid back and cool. Since then, there has almost always been a weird, exclusive, cliquey, performatively liberal vibe. The vaccine card requirement at this point is blatant discrimination. I’m pro-vaccine but without a card they won’t serve you and will kick you out. Tonight was the last straw when we walked in and the bartender told us dogs weren’t allowed after 9 due to past issues. If there were issues with a dog, that dog should be banned. And dogs can have issues at 5, 6, 7, or 8 so this is a very weird rule. Do they make people with dogs leave at 9 if they came at 7?
