GNC — Local services in Carson City

It’s a bummer but I’m going to start ordering my stuff from Amazon now. You cannot walk into this store without a HARD sell. It’s beyond obnoxious. They try to upsell you on this ridiculous membership, protein and even stuff I don’t even take. “What are you taking for a multivitamin? Well if you come over here we have all of these…” I don’t WANT a multivitamin. I want what I came into the store to buy. I politely declined the first time but literally the second time I came in there literally 2 days later the same employee tried to sell me again. I again politely said “yeah you told me before remember?” He says “oh yeah but I forgot to mention this…” and goes on to talk for another minute about a membership signup thing I have zero interest in. It’s exhausting. I want to walk in. Buy what I want. And leave. I’ve realized that won’t happen in this store. I’ll happily pay a few bucks MORE to order online and not have to deal with this every...

The employee was somewhat rude, but that was just the beginning of the nightmare. Ultimately, the product was not delivered.

He signed us up as a continuing receiver of the product, though I expressly said I didn’t want that. Then, though I corrected his error of where to deliver the product, later using their 888 number ( helpful people) I was advised he had Used the incorrect address anyway for a delivery address.

We suspected something was not right after receiving an email indicating higher charges than we were told. The (888) people were never able to determine where or if the product was ever sent, and could not even determine the order was ever entered into their system.

Bottom line, their going through a “Reorganization”, currently has a once reliable organization in chaos. I’ll never...

Really it's a zero. Came in with my husband. We asked for 2 things. The 2 older women that were behind the counter weren't knowledgeable. They were rude and stared me down the whole time. I spent alot of money. They wouldn't let me use the coupon from my email. The coupon did not say online only. If I need to shop online to use a coupon, then I will just go somewhere else that's cheaper. I wouldn't go there again. If you choose to go and come into contact with the 2 old Karen's, beware they will do it to you too. Especially if you are a younger healthier person. 😉 That is my personal opinion.
