PETE'S — Local services in Carthage

This Pete's store has been my go to store since I moved to Carthage. I pass up another Pete's and Casey's to use this store. The ONLY store that I buy my cigarettes at. I was just there to buy cigarettes and a candy bar. After I finally got someone to answer me. There was a man and a woman in the cooler, they both answered me. The woman finally came out and got my cigarettes off the shelf and insisted that I use the self checkout. I told her that I don't work there, she said "I know", and still insisted on me checking myself out. I'm not sure if this is something the company's pushing, or if it was just someone wanting me to do her job. I refuse! I already have a job. I work to make my money. I'm not working to spend it! Sooooo Pete's, my money might not mean much to you, but you're loosing business by insisting on self checkout!
