They told us they were giving us $1000 trade in on 2 of our phones, which was why we went ahead and upgraded. When it was all said and done they only gave us $999.99 for one and $830 for the other. I went in the next day and spoke to JR who said Verizon would fix it and if they don’t to call him personally and he would put in for an adjustment. Well Verizon said that they cannot so I reached out to JR one month later on 2/20/25, he said he would look into it and let me know if he needed anything. As suspected, I never heard back from him. I have been a Verizon customer for years and never have I had to pay a “setup free” ($40) while getting a new phone. They charged me 3 setup fees when they only setup 2. One of the 3 phones I had to setup myself. They also charged me tax that I had to pay at the store. All in all I had to pay $333, plus the activation charges ($35 each) that will be on my next bill. They also did not wear any Verizon uniform. The experience was odd. Our phone boxes were very scratched up, just very odd. The box to my phone was already opened. And they just freely open boxes to show you the colors. Normally a VZW store will not open boxes unless it’s to start the activation. Again just very odd. If you try to call them you get a guy in India. The guy in India said he would forward my phone number to a manager to have them call me. Which never happened. They had us leave our phones with them for an hour with our passcodes. Who knows what they did with our old phones, they could’ve gone through everything. I really wish I wouldn’t have done it at this store. I will be contacting Verizon corporate about the store and my experience & the fees that I was charged. Guess I’ll have to go through the BBB for what I was promised. Both days we were in this store there were customers coming in to complain about a billing issue.

Very disappointed in this store it says Verizon but I brought my phone in and they wouldn't even look at it. They said we're an independent contractor and would only look at phones they sold to people. I guess I'm not qualified for help with my Verizon phone at your store and I most likely never use your store in the future. Sad thing I had to drive an additional 12 miles to find out it got put on Air Plan mood by mistake. It took less than 30 second to higer out. To bad this store has not leaned how to...
