China King — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

My wife order food for the entire family! She requested no vegetables in my lo mein. My wife even did as much as listing the vegetables we did not want in there. She went and picked up the food. Only to discover there were vegetables in the lo mein. Which is fine obviously a simple misunderstanding. I completely understand mistakes are made I called back and politely said we requested no vegetables, the lady on the phone says to me " yeah I remember your wife she order wrong she never say no vegetables." I politely say I heard her request no vegetables she cuts me off and says noting she can do we go back and forth back and forth she continues on she is too busy to deliver and that my wife messed up the order. I then tell her I'm returning the food and I want my money back she finally agrees to refund my money once I bring back the food. This lady then says "don't eat it cause we check". Unbelievable I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Very unfortunate because we liked the food there a lot and have had no other issues. You have successfully lost my business and I will write a poor review on ever site possible. For the record this is the first time I have ever written a negative review. Learn how to treat...

I Would Give 0 Stars If I Could Honestly! I Took My Mother And Little Sister Out To Eat Here And The Food Was Horrible, Not Authentic, And The Place Wasn't All That Clean. First Off, There Was A Guy Who Had Been Waiting 30-45 Mins On A Take Out Order And The Lady Who Had Took Our Order Had A Nasty Attitude, Didn't Give Us Eye Contact Or Even Smile! Just Plain Rude As Hell! But When A White Lady Came In To Order She Was Smiling, Laughing And Happy. (Me And My Mom Concluded The Lady Who Took Our Order Is Racist) Then To Put The Icing On The Cake She Had The Nerve To Be Handling People's Money Which Is Obviously Dirty, And Then Touch/Cook The Food! My Mom Lost Her Marbles! Then When We Finally Got Our Food, My Mom's Order Was Wrong! She Ordered Beef Fried Rice, Chicago Style With ONLY Onions And When She Got It, It Had All These Peas And Other Stuff That She Didn't Ask For In It. We Felt Very Unwelcomed And So Uncomfortable That We Could Barely Sit There And Eat. It's One Thing To Have Poor Customer Service But At Least Get The Damn Order RIGHT And Make People Feel Welcomed! $30 Down The Drain! SMH. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY! THEY'RE DISGUSTING, DIRTY, RACIST AND VERY RUDE PEOPLE!...

The young lady is super nice.. but the older man is selectively really rude.

If you ever get the wrong food from there make sure to take pictures and maybe like Double check they wrote it down. The old man was soooo pissed that I came for a new order.(they sent the wrong one to my house and whoever I called to tell didn't write it down 😫) Scammers are terrible for sure but you shouldn't call a customer a liar when it was a double failure on the restaurants fault.

I regret to inform you guys that I'll probably still give them business because the food is super good.. but if i get the chance I'll drive further for the even better place with waaqy better customer service. (And I say selectively rude because now he's super fraternizing with other customers after calling my truthtellingself... a bold face liar.)

But again the young lady and the food are both very very close...
