Worst individual ever. I had the stone in my wife engagement ring re-set into a bigger, custom ring setting that was designed just for her by Moriarty. The quality of ring was adequate, however because of my travel, I needed the ring delivered to me. My explicit instruction to Moriarty was to have the ring sent messenger (at my cost) to my office in Chicago where it would be hand delivered and signed for. After not getting it days later, I finally tracked everything down only to learn that he put a $6000.00 custom ring with a stone with sentimental value IN THE REGULAR US MAIL. Worse, he DID NOT INSURE IT, and as you might guess, it never made it to my office. HE LOST MY WIFE'S ORIGINAL ENGAGEMENT STONE BECUASE HE IS COMPLETLY STUPID. We ultimately had to get a lawyer and go to arbitration with this moron just to get him to replace the thing. Get this, he wanted ME to put it on my homeowners insurance as a claim. It still bothers my wife and we can never get that stone back, the cut of which was very unique and special to her. He may be good at his trade, but he is a crappy...

I have never left an online review at an establishment before, no matter how great or poor the service; but I feel as though I have an obligation to do so for Moriarty’s given how great my experience with them has been. I bought my fiancé’s engagement ring here in June and I am so glad this is where I came. I showed Alice a picture of the exact ring that my girlfriend wanted and she had it made for me custom, from scratch at a great price. She kept me informed through the entire process, replied promptly to all of my emails or phone calls and never tried to pressure me into a sale. She simply gave me the facts and the different pros & cons of the various options. She is a professional and her expertise in this field is very clear when talking to her. I am a tanzanite FANATIC and Moriarty’s has a bustling selection of my favorite gemstone. I purchased a pair of 14k white gold Tanzanite earrings from their website solely dedicated to tanzanite sales, tanzanitejewelrydesigns.com.

I ordered them on the 21st of December and they arrived a mere 2 days later on the 23rd of December. I was super impressed with how quickly they arrived in the midst of all the chaos surrounding mail at this time (shout outs to USPS too).

The next thing that I loved was the amazing care that went into packaging my earrings. They were triple packaged for upmost safety and came in a stunning jewelry box to boot!
