We decided to upgrade from our Intex Pool that we used for years, because it was getting older and the liner had issues. I did some research and we decided to go with Watson's. I called and spoke with the salesperson who said to come in and he could show us what they had. We did and decided to go with a more upgraded above ground pool along with pump. The salesperson explained what we were responsible for and I understood. The pool was installed earlier then except which was awesome or so we thought. The reason for the low rating it because of the following things. To start with I understood I would have to back fill around the pool, what I didn't except was to have to go pickup trash out of my neighbors yard. The installers instead of at least putting trash in one of the boxes just left papers and manual's blowing around. There is also no shut off value to the skimmer side so if you have to replace the pump the water just comes pouring out, so you will need to find and install one on your own I guess. I never got an answer back if this is something they were suppose to put on and didn't happen. This became important for my pool. The first time I turned on the pump it would only turn on at high speed some of the time and the low speed side didn't work. I called Watson because the pool was full of water and no pump. I asked the person about running it on high speed and they said don't do it unless it is for vacuuming the pool or discharge of water. They said it would be a couple of weeks because they were backed up on service calls. I told them I could replace the pump myself and asked if the pump had a timer. They sent me to the salesperson who sold us the pool who said they don't sell timers it is something you have to find. So keep that in mind you will have to find a timer for the pump, something we weren't told. I told them I wouldn't be able to get the pump up to them for a week. The salesperson told me to come see him and he would help fix any issues with getting the water balanced. Later in the week I removed the pump after figuring up a way to keep the hose from pouring water. I picked up the second pump. I installed it and thought everything was great. I started it and water started leaking out the pump. I called Watson's again and they asked me if I could take it off and bring it back and get other. I told them no I didn't think it was my job to do it again. The person I spoke to said someone would call the following day. I didn't hear from anyone late afternoon so I called. I was told the manager was off and he would need to be the one to move things around. I asked the person to put us on the schedule and if he could change great if not I would just run the pump the way it was. They just kept saying they couldn't. I called and had to speak with our salesperson who had to go back and tell them to do it. We did get put on the schedule and the tech came and replaced the pump. When I got home I checked and it was running on high which we were told not to do. I turned it off and tried to turn it to low and it wouldn't work. I called and this time the person said to run the pump on high for about six hours and it would be ok. I told him the pump would not switch to low again and asked about just replacing the switch. He said he would get someone out. They did and I'm not if they replaced the switch or pump again but it appears to be working since we have had it running for the last two months. I did try and get hold of sales person because of course the chemicals were off. I never heard back from them. I thought about giving them a lower rating but service did fix the pump. The bottom line is make sure you ask about the shut off value on the skimmer side of the pool, there is no timer for the pump they sold me so you will have to find one your own and oversee the installers. I recently noticed you can feel the screws for the metal piece the pump hoses attach through the liner and since one of them was to long the cover piece on the outside...

Update- After my post hit Google, I immediately received a phone call. Magically, the touch-up paint I have been waiting for was at the store and ready for me to pick-up. The service Manager also let me bring in the chipped piece from my umbrella and swapped it out with one in their showroom. I appreciate you taking care of me. (really wish it hadn't taken me making a negative review to get it done)
We bought a really nice dining set, conversation set and umbrella a few months ago. Beautiful products. Great quality.
August 5th- The dining set and umbrella were delivered. There were a couple of small scratches of paint on the chairs and foot pedal of the umbrella base. Not a big deal. Just need some touch up paint. (but trying to get the service department to take care of it is a whole other story!)
August 5th- delivery driver gave me a number to call. I wrote on the deliver sheet and took a pic of what the issues were before he left and hen called Watsons to report the scratches as directed.
August 6th. I texted pics of the spots as requested the next day. The Dayton location didn't have access to the paint needed so they reached out to the Sharonville location. I work in Sharonville so I offered to go pick up the paint. I even told Watson's they didn't need to schedule a service tech out to my house. I am happy to do the touch-up myself, I just need the paint and I am happy to drive to whatever location to pick it up.
August 11th i received a text update informing me they were still waiting to hear from the service manager.
August 30th I initiated a text to the service department asking for an update. Someone replied 4 hours later and said they would be in touch.
August 31st Someone called to confirm what my issues were. She said the service manager would be in touch to schedule someone out. I reminded her that all i needed was the paint and she insisted Watson's wanted to call and schedule service. No problem. I appreciate that.
September 20th. Still no call. Still no paint. Still waiting for Watsons to take care of this simple service issue. Very frustrating. I understand there may be an issue getting the paint, but there is no excuse for the continued lack of communication.
We still have a conversation set on back-order. My wife and I are questioning whether or not we should cancel. Furniture at Watson's is not cheap. We paid for good quality furniture, warranty and customer service. So far, all we have is good furniture. The warranty is only as good as the service and thus far, well...you...
Read moreMy experience was unexpectedly disappointing and regrettable. I purchased a whirlpool spa as a gift for my husband's birthday. It took weeks longer to receive versus what I was notified originally. Within a month of being installed by the company, one of the valves sprung a leak and chemically treated water seeped out onto our concrete patio for weeks before we could get anyone to come to the house for a consultation (during which we couldn't use it, of course). When the maintenance person did arrive, he indicated that it could not be 'fixed' confidently without failing again so it would be requested that the manufacturer provide us with another one. After several weeks of waiting again without word about when the exchange would occur, I finally got information (during one of my own follow up calls) that they had planned to get back to me to tell me that the manufacturer would not send a replacement unless Watson's tried to repair it first. Then, if (when) it leaked again, they would consider a replacement. This was a 30 day old spa!!! By this time, we lost all confidence in Watson's altogether and requested it be picked up and refunded. That took another 2 weeks for anyone to pick it up and, even then, pieces of the neck cushions were left on the patio. Watson's clearly did not value our 10,000 sale enough to ensure we were provided with a new replacement for an investment that was only 30 days old before needing repairs. It was a very embarrassing process given that it had been a gift for my husband's birthday and all he really got was months of the 'run around' and a defective machine that was intended to provide him with therapeutic relief. If you are looking for courteous and helpful customer service for your hard earned investment, Watson's demonstrated itself to be the...
