I stopped by this salon while I was in the area for a work meeting because I desperately needed to get my nails fixed. I had a Gel-X set done at another place just a week and a half prior, but the nails weren’t applied correctly, which caused lifting and even some bruising. Thankfully, this salon was able to get me in within 30 minutes.

I ended up doing a full set of hard gel with tips, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! The quality was excellent and the pricing was very reasonable—two things that are super important to me when it comes to nail services.

The only downside was that the technician seemed a bit distracted throughout the appointment. She had her phone propped up and was watching something the entire time or texting, which made the appointment feel longer than it needed to be. I went in around 12:30 and didn’t leave until close to 3:00, which was a bit tough since I was on a time crunch.

When she was also removing my gel X, she used a nail extension to kind of get under the nail and lift it off, which was really painful so I think just soaking them off is the way to go just so no one is in pain.

After experiencing a frustrating visit at another salon, I was fortunate to discover Essentially You, a mani and pedi spa, and it was a breath of fresh air! From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, the owner greeted me with such warmth and friendliness that I felt welcomed right away.

Upon arriving, I was met with a bright smile and a welcoming atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. Although my appointment was scheduled for 2 PM, I arrived a bit early at 1:30, and to my surprise, they promptly accommodated me by getting a technician ready right away.

I had the pleasure of seeing Victor, who worked wonders on my nails. He took the time to assess the mess left by the previous salon and transformed my nails beautifully. I was thoroughly impressed with his attention to detail and skill. The entire spa is clean, well-organized, and has a relaxing ambiance that enhances the experience.

Essentially You is my new favorite nail spa!! I’ve been twice now. The quality of service overall from beginning-to-end has been consistently top tier.

The owners, Tu and Sue were polite and professional while scheduling each appointment, and upon arrival, made me feel welcome with a friendly greeting. The entire staff was very pleasant, accommodating, engaged and referred to me by name. I love their technique of using foil, cotton and disposable gloves (a first for me) instead of having my fingers soaking in a bowl of acetone. Each visit, Sue and/or Tu came by to ensure everything was going well and even offered beverages, as did the technicians throughout the service. I’ve been pleased each time with the quality of work and final outcome. Everyone takes their time, paying attention to detail. I got Victor the second visit. His work and personality are absolutely amazing!
