Edited! Pleases see updates
Terrible attention to detail with their work. Youāll uncover issues once you start looking through things. Misaligned my in wall and ceiling speakers and did not attempt to fix them. Thermostats donāt have the information with them. youāll need a device CRC to use it digitally. It wasnāt supplied and isnāt on the device. Oh and they set a admin password on it so I canāt access portions of the user interface. Thereās also an issue with the front door lock installation. The builder mentioned that Trinity installed it. They basically made Swiss cheese of my door jam when they installed the lock plate and the screws that were used we of all variety and sizes and clearly didnāt come with the product. Avoid this company if you can. From what I hear they can be ridiculous about your service packages too. Iām glad I dodged that bullet! I regret letting them touch my home theater and paying premium prices for DIY level work.
Update: 1 star to 3 stars.
I received a call today from Tonya with Trinity Wiring Solutions . She was extremely helpful and provided clarity to what their company does as it relates to different things installed in my home. They do not install Thermostats and Locks, they simply integrate it into their home monitoring system. This was a mistake on my part due to the clarity of initial information with the builder. The problem with the home theater is in the process of being reconciled and I will provide a third update to this review and hopefully be able to give it 5 stars based on their response. So far, the road to a resolution has positive.
Update 3 star to 5 Stars
I think it's important to judge on how a response to a problem is handled. The response to my needs was 5 star. They treated the problem with a sense of personalized urgency. I appreciate all of the help. Everything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGot my security system upgraded on 12/11. The night I got security system upgraded, started hearing beeps which woke me and my wife up. Called up Trinity next morning and they said come pick backup battery yourself and replace it yourself. Replaced the battery myself and the same night system started beeping again and woke me and my wife up again. Called them again next day and they said a technician would call me in a couple of hours and come over to fix the issue. Did not receive any call from technician for a couple of hours and called Trinity up again and they said technician is not back yet. No support on second day and we had to sleep through a third night of beeping in our system. On the fourth day, with our upgraded system the door sensors stopped working as well. Called them up again and they said some would call me but did to receive a call. Called again and a guy guided me through a few steps but that did not resolve any problem but he did a hardware reset and atleast the beep is gone temporarily. Today morning ( 12/15 night 12/16 morning ), they called my emergency contact and woke them up by saying they are unable to get a hold of us. I checked my phone and my wifeās phone and we have not received any call from Trinity since I called them yesterday myself, so not sure who they are trying to call ( also my security system is broken and they should know that since they havenāt fixed it ). Tried calling Trinity again today to tell them not to bother my emergency contact as they havenāt fixed our system but since it is Saturday, they are close and I am unable to find off hours support number from them. Really pathetic service with no regard to customer inconvinience and customer satisfaction. Bad quality for installation as well as I started having this issue the night my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience with Trinity has been a disaster. First, they did the pre-wiring for a TV through the fireplace wall. When I moved in, the cabling was not working. Trinity came out and noted that, somehow, the cabling they put in was defective but, unfortunately, they could not fix the problem. They were very helpful in that they told me how to buy a cable I could run outside the fireplace wall that would allow the TV to be connected. They also gave me a sincere apology for the foul-up, but could not refund the pre-wiring charge I had already paid them. It gets worse. Last December a door relay failed that caused an alarm to be issued to the County police. I was traveling and asked Trinity to turn off the system until I got back, but they didn't do that. When I got back, I found a letter in the mail from the Police saying additional warnings had been sent in and they were putting my address on a list where I would be fined if another false alarm was sent in. I locally disarmed the system and have not used it since. I did use the remote control of the heating and a/c, which did work, but finally concluded the monthly fee was a lot to pay for such a simple convenience and no alarm service. I cancelled the service and they extracted their final "gotcha fee" of $400 for equipment they said is left behind that they must charge me for, which I could not give back to them as they said it had been permanently installed. They told me if I didn't give them a credit card number to cover this "equipment recovery fee" they would continue to charge me the monthly use fee. Good Riddance! Be very cautious if you deal with...
