This store has a very bad attitude and terrible food, horrible experience with it. 😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓
I called on 8:22 pm take to go order, the lady who answered phone told me that they will close on 9:10 pm, I said I am very close to this plaza, I can arrive soon, you can go ahead to cook it and I pick up on time, it will not effort for your closing time. She agrees that and left my name and phone number.
I ordered dumplings and what to another else, she said that we have a lot of delicious food, but you have to come first to see another food. Then I told her I am on the way.
I arrived at the store at 8:42 pm and told her I am here for pick up. The magic happened. The owner told me that there is no order received, nothing prepared for pick up. If you want to something you can order now, but we didn’t receive any orders.
???????????????????
I feel so strange, I take my phone and double check is that correct number which I called. She said yes, that’s our number, but no orders, if you want to something you can go ahead order now.
From the business owner side, she doesn’t want to know the reason why seeped the order, and no any words for explain. Her voice was the same person who answered the phone. I could see from her expression that she was very impatient and unenthusiastic. She was too lazy to answer any questions. Don't expect her to apologize. From the beginning to the end the clerk didn't do any explanation and apology how they missed my order, let me wait inside and coast me another twenty minutes for food. They didn't close at 9:10, and when I left, guests continued to eat in the store. I don't know why the lady has such a bad attitude and looks like a porker face.
When I got the dumplings, I asked the lady to give me extra chili sauce, she said yes everything was put in the bas. When I am home, I saw that the dimpling’s’ wrappers were very very very thick and did not give me any extra chili sauce, only a very small size sauce. I used a ruler. You can see the thickness of the wrappers clearly. Unspeakably thick, dumplings are filled with flour/starch/carbohydrates and contain little stuffing. I don't know how they got confidence can named “ Dumplings Queen”
For this kind of such a poor user experience, nobody will fall for it a...
Read moreThis is my favorite place for Chinese food and such a gem! The main woman who works here always treats me so nicely and kindly. She is incredible and is always working nonstop to serve her hungry patrons, she's the real MVP.
Here are pics from three different meals (I highly recommend every dish I've tried!) plus the up to date menu so.you can get idea of the prices. The first meal, I got crispy & spicy fish, garlic cucumbers and wontons in chili oil. If your a garlic lover like me, the garlic cucumber veggie dish is for you as it is packed full of minced garlic and dressed in sesame oil. Its so delicious and flavorful - i've gotten it multiple times (see second pic!)
The crispy & spicy fish is literally one of the best dishes I've ever had! Its deep fried pieces of some type of white fish that is super tender and moist on the inside and crispy crunchy on the outside. Instead of being served with a sauce, it is tossed in the most flavorful combination of things including dried red chillies, cilantro stems/leaves, roasted peanuts, minced garlic and sesame seeds. Its SO good, I've gotten it twice (see second pic!) - and it comes in a chicken version and tofu version that i'll have to try!
In a different visit to this incredible restaurant - i got the Xinjiang Style Pork Fried Ribs and the Scallion Pancakes based of someone else's recommendation. The pork ribs are $20 and are so worth it as they are a speciality of Northern China. Packed a huge punch when i comes to flavor - i think they were marinated in some combination of soy sauce, 5 spice powder, and fish sauce and then fried & tossed with minced garlic and toasted sesame seeds. Highly Recommended!
If you want some delicious Chinese Food that will take you away from the traditional lo mein and general tsao's (not that there is anything wrong with that!) - Dumpling Queen is the place to go & these are the dishes to try!

Read moreAfter many visits this is one of my favorites. A big reason is, they do hot and sour soup the right way, which is really rare. GOOD hot and sour isn't in thin yellow chicken broth, it's done like this... thick, peppery, very dark, lots of egg and tofu. Everyone should try this place once just to see what proper hot and sour is like.
Service is always friendly and pretty fast though sometimes they get busy.
The menu is a mix of their dumplings, which can be customized with your choice of filling, some authentic Chinese dishes, and some American Chinese dishes like general tso's, sesame chicken, etc. The Americans stuff is well made, a little higher quality than the places that only serve that style. The dumplings are good but I find myself missing the sauce most places serve. I guess authentic dumplings you're expected to just use soy or the hot pepper paste.
Also, if you want to try something unique that isn't too "out there", you must try Xinjiang Style Pork Fried Ribs. They're not like the usual red chinese spareribs you see. I haven't seen these anywhere else. It's a bit expensive but fantastic flavor.
They're really tender, very light glaze if any, and then covered in this unique paste or dry rub made of crushed peanuts, garlic, scallions, sesame and crushed peppers. It's so good. Salty and savory.
If you're playing it safe... General tso's, Orange, and Sesame chicken are similar, properly breaded, crispy, mostly or all white meat. The kung pao is good with lots of veggies. Hunan chicken has a nice smoky flavor.
This is a place where I feel safe trying something new because nothing is cheap or low quality, and service has always been friendly and...
