Our Night Before Dinner at the Porch was wonderful, we cannot think of a single thing that would have made it better!

The indoor/outdoor space was perfect. Everyone loved the food, we are still receiving comments about it two two weeks later.

A huge thank you to the two event coordinators who made the planning from a distance painless. They both made the time to answer all our questions , by phone or email, and give us all the information we needed. We appreciate their always timely responses!

The two servers assigned to our event could not have been more efficient, professional, and helpful. They served our group of 35 dinner and drinks without there being any long line for drinks or wait for food. It was nice that the two event coordinators were onsite and kept checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly.

We enjoyed the family style dinner, it seemed to help people open up and chat with those sitting around them that they may not have known before the rehearsal.

Started off with a Moscow Mule (not impressed, too heavy sour/lime), Mussels as the app (very good!), Seafood Linguine (very good) and wife had Red Beet Shrimp Salad (dinner portion, not side salad. She loved it). Food was great, fairly priced. Mule was too heavy with the sour/lime mix. Server was attentive, but not personable. Overall decent experience. Sat outdoors, covered porch. Tables were spaced apart very well, nice lighting (not too dark or bright). If you're looking for a fancy dinner date, this isn't it. We held a rehearsal dinner at the Porch at Oyster House event venue in Charleston, SC. The staff was amazing. Kate the events manager was very responsive to our needs to assure that everything went smoothly. We rented both the indoor and patio space which was perfect as the weather was great for being outside. The food was superb and was more than the guests could eat. We selected several appetizers along with a BBQ meal. The pulled pork and macaroni and cheese were the favorites. I would highly recommend considering this venue for...
