Cherry Market — Local services in Charlotte

I stumbled across this place when picking up a UPS package, and glad I did. Good selection of beer and wine, with a super convenient location for both Cherry, Midtown, and Myers Park. This place is run by a great husband and wife team, who seem to take a lot of care and pride in their product offerings—a lot of small and/or local brewery options that you wouldn’t find at the majority of convenience stores. They work closely with their distributor, who is a cherry local themselves—and if there’s something they don’t currently sell but that you’d like to see offered, they’ll note your request and look into getting it in the store—this was what I was personally most impressed by. I am a born and raised native of Cherry and grew up with this corner store. I have always been uncertain of how the store would end up after the owners that were there while I was growing up. The new owners there are absolutely wonderful! There are specific items that my sister and I like to be able to get without having to go out of the neighborhood and they most certainly make sure to stock those items just for us. We love them and are blessed that we had someone else to come into the neighborhood and offer the kindness and care that we got growing up. I can also send and receive shipments there.
