I’ve tried out orange theory with a friend a while back and was very interested in joining, Only thing was it was way out of my comfort zone and walking in to any fitness place was very intimidating to me. This is why I usually get a one on one trainer, which can get very expensive. So I decided to try it again. I got a call from Emily which I met when I went in for a free session and she was super nice and comforting cause let’s be honest, I was super scared and intimidated and a little embarrassed looking at the class in session like wow am I gonna look like a fool, but she was very encouraging and so nice that it made it easier to want to come back and do it again! Then that’s where I met the coach of the first class I took, Pete. He was Super nice and very helpful and was making sure I was good. As I took another class which happen to be Pete as the coach, he took the time after class to help me with a set that I had trouble with and a few questions that I had, he explained and showed me how it works and how it was done, I felt no judgement and was thankful that he did take his time to show me and answer some questions I had. Being new I haven’t had tried all the coaches yet, I plan to, but my first time with orange theory midtown, Emily and Pete made it a lot easier...
Read moreI joined Orange Theory in August 2021 and since I’ve joined, my fitness routine has improved drastically. I typically take OT to help with conditioning for Pole Fitness to help maintain endurance when competing. At this location, my favorite coach is Travis! Whenever he’s on the schedule I make sure to book! He’s motivating, takes a genuine interest in helping us reach our fitness goals and pushes us pass our limits in class. Another thing I enjoy about Travis’s class is he plays a variety of diverse music which is one of the reasons why I push myself because I’m most likely jamming to music instead of focusing on the time I’ve been on the treadmill. The front desk is also really nice and accommodating. Recently, I took a few weeks off and I appreciated Erin, the head coach, reaching out to check in. In addition, I recently visited another Orange Theory location and sadly wasn’t a big fan but coming back to this location, OT Kings Drive is very welcoming and diverse. I strongly recommend anyone to visit this location and book a class with Travis to jam out and to have a...
Read moreI’ve been an Orangetheory member for a while now and have been to multiple studios over the years, and this is one of my favorite studios! The reason it’s a favorite is because it’s just good vibes all around. The staff, the coaches, the other members, everyone brings a good energy, and that honestly makes such a difference studio to studio. I also can’t say enough about the coaches here. They are on top of it, but they also have personality and make the workouts fun (even when they’re not, lol). If you have a chance to take Coach Giselle’s class, you most definitely should! She is an expert at guiding you through the templates so you know exactly what you’re doing and exactly the effort to give to ensure you get a good workout without overdoing it. I wouldn’t have made it through 8 days of hell week...
