After 10-15mins in the store waiting to be served. I asked an associate was anyone taking to-go orders because clearly there’s a line full of guests and nobody asked if we needed help yet. He said, “Oh, they’re not in line.” When there’s many people standing in line behind me. No acknowledgment whatsoever.
I eventually ordered two bowls in-store to-go; one Bahama Mama and one of the new Dragon Fruit. I placed my order at 10:26am but didn’t receive it until after 11am. I only received it then because I had to remind an associate that I’ve been waiting for awhile. The associates were more focused on assisting online and DoorDash orders than acknowledging customers standing in a line that was pretty much filled to the door.
After receiving my bowls that were made incorrectly. I asked if they could add the missing ingredients. The coconut was added and I asked where’s the chia seeds they said they were out. I stated I wished that was mentioned in the beginning because I would’ve gone to a different location. Totally disappointed at the whole experience because this was my first time visiting this location and trying the bowl overall.
The Dragon Fruit bowl had strawberries on top instead of mangos. Imagine if it was presented to someone who was allergic to strawberries. Not a care in the world. I feel an associate should know the recipes to all of the food items on the menu. Especially being fully conscious and aware of possible food allergies.
Neither of the bowls were made correctly to begin with. The fruits being using doesn’t seem to be fresh. It’s giving canned instead of farmed. Feel like I wasted my time, energy and money. Customer service was unacceptable.
I tried giving the associates grace because most of them appeared to be teenagers. However, they all could use some training in customer service.
First and last time for this restaurant. You only have to make my first impression and experience worst once. I downloaded the app upon my visit but deleted shortly after. Rating’s a 1 but if I could give...
Read moreJust left this place, usually visit often but I won’t be visiting again. I spent almost 35 minutes in here waiting as they were busy, which is fine I was patient the whole entire time as the young guy serving was clearly overwhelmed and had some hearing problems.
He let me know after 20 minutes of waiting that they didn’t have the ingredients for what I asked for. That’s fine I can replace things but I saw that they added whey protein to my order by mistake somehow and I’m allergic to dairy, this is a big concern because getting that wrong can really be damaging. One girl even tried to tell me whey doesn’t have dairy in…if they’re telling customers that it’s irresponsible.
As the guy couldn’t hear me again I offered to write down what I wanted in the smoothie. I got really annoyed that this poor guy with learning needs can’t hear me and not one of the other workers came to assist or a manager. I asked for a refund because I was really getting frustrated.
To make matters worse another worker came over being rude and basically told me I’m the problem because my server had learning difficulties and I should understand that.
If that’s the case why don’t you help him? Because not once did you try to help.
Dealing with customers like that is not how you solve anything.
I don’t blame my server, I really don’t. But the rest of the people that work there are rude, clueless and unprofessional.
I’ve seen people comment that this is the worst tropical smoothie they’ve been to and haven’t been to different...
Read moreI typically am someone that will only write a review if my experience is especially amazing or especially horrible. I’d give zero stars if I could. The first 2 times I went, they were out of several ingredients and the menu was limited, which indicates poor management. All three times that I have gone into this location, the attitudes were especially raging by the staff. The visit that prompted this review goes as follows: I arrived to the store at 6:57 PM, while they were still making smoothies for other people. There were five staff standing around, only one of them doing something. One of the staff quickly, and with obvious irritability, told me that they were closed, although their door was still unlocked and the store indicates that it closes at SEVEN. If they are going to close at 6:57 PM, then they should accurately advertise that they close at 6:57 PM. From my previous experience, it only takes one to two minutes to make a smoothie. They could have made my smoothie before their advertised closing time at 7 PM. This is unacceptable. On top of that, their website also advertises takeout open until 8pm, but their online ordering webpage wouldn’t allow me to place an order at 6:58pm. Tropical smoothie really needs new employees that serve customers during business hours with a smile and positivity. This location will not survive, at the rate they’re going with the reviews. I’m not the only customer...
