American Deli — Restaurant in Charlotte

First, I ordered a salad and chicken. The Casher said will I be chicken salad combo? I said no I don’t want it together. I want large salad and wings. I waited for my order which took a little while. My order was completed. I noticed that I had a small salad. I requested that the cashier , provide me with a larger salad. Then I had to wait again for my large salad to be prepared. The salad was prepared. They asked me what sauce I wanted. I showed them the source that I wanted. They gave me one pack of sauce, a large salad. When I requested an extra pack, they informed me that I had to pay 50 Cent for another pack of salad. I’m not sure who does the measurements on the solace with the salads are not small at all and one very small pack of sauce is only going to cover the salad and the rest of the salad will be dry. For almost $10 I think that is unfair that they will provide you with one dressing for their large salad , then turn around and charge you 50 Cent for extra pack that should have been included in this type of salad. So upon I seen the cashier to waive that 50 Cent she went and got her Supervisor to address the issue. Supervisor inform me that is 50 Cent for pack and that if I didn’t want to pay the 50 Cent, then I will have to keep, one pack of dressing. I decided that I would give them that dry salad back get my money back and I don’t encourage any other customers to buy purchase anything from the store. They don’t know how to treat customers and they over price everything. There are overcharging for condiments that should be added to your order. I would never go there again and I don’t advise anyone else to make a purchase there or even stop here to buy...

The food here is decent. I think their wings are quite good and the Chicken Philly was nicely done and a good portion. The fries are generic. I like that you can tack on some wings to your combo. I don't really appreciate being charged more for certain wing flavors though, but being nit picky seems to be a thing at this location. There is signage throughout informing patrons of their one refill policy, add'l sauce policy, bathroom policy, etc. I'm not saying some established policies aren't a good thing, I'm just saying that it feels over stated here and kinda detracts from the appeal of the establishment. I did really like that they present your food to you for review at the counter so you have an opportunity there to inspect it to make sure you're getting what you expected. I've been here four times I think during lunch and they are a bit slow for having such a limited menu, so in the future I'd probably call it in or see if they offer online ordering so I can...

I was in the area for the first time and decided to get something to eat. The online menu was limited so I needed details about a few items. The lady on the phone huffed in annoyance whenever I asked for details but did answer me. The food was enjoyable. The wings were good, but the honey garlic was lacking garlic but the honey added nice flavor, not too sweet. The fries were cooked well, fluffy inside, not greasy & a nice seasoning blend and a good size portion. The burger was large & the flavors melded together good. I had to save a little less than half of the burger & fries to eat later. The fountain drinks could be better with filtered water. The orange soda, ok but the Sprite taste off. I ended up with 3 meals from the wings & burger combo and was overall pleased with my choice of American deli and the food...
