In my 58 years of life, I would never have believed that I would ever be posting on a social media site about the benefits of chiropractic care! My first 20 years of my clinical nursing career put a great deal of physical stress on my back. Then in 2003, I had an injury to my back from moving furniture in the house. 5 years and a spinal fusion later, I was being treated for chronic back pain. Dr. Eric is a uniquely talented man with his ability to provide chiropractic treatment as well as educate his patients on achieving core strength and balance in your life. He spends relaxed time discussing treatment plans and recommendations for your care. I applaud him and his whole team at Atlantic Chiropractic & Rehab. Dr. Santjer is extremely knowledgeable and is very experienced with multiple chiropractic techniques. I can tell by the way he explains his methods that he really cares for his patients. For example, in my own business, I would always teach my customers the correct way so if they ever went to someone else, they would know if it was right or not. Dr. Santjer is the same way and I respect that professionalism.

Now as for the service itself: EXCELLENT! Dr. Santjer x-rayed my neck at our first appointment. First time my neck has ever been x-rayed.

At my second appt, he said I have phase 2 degenerative disc disease. Sadly, I wasn't surprised. Anyway, he then adjusted me and, let me tell you, I felt immediate relief and no pain from the adjustment in the following days. I felt my circulation increasing in my arms, pain relief in my neck, and I slept much better.

My husband and I had been trying to conceive our second child for two years with no luck. From a friend's suggestion, I called Dr. Eric's office to see if they could help, as I'd heard that perhaps ensuring you are aligned properly can help with fertility and proper nerve function. From that very first phone call to my last appointment (we are moving out of the area), he always took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and make sure I felt comfortable. Many people are not aware that chiropractic care and prenatal care complement each other very well. After about four months I was pregnant! Dr. Eric had been working to re-align my hips, pelvis, and lower back which apparently had been misaligned from my first pregnancy/delivery, though I never knew it.
