Poor experiences. Weāre going elsewhere.
Edited to add my response to owner: Your need to constantly and aggressively defend your business is exactly why weāre moving on. You have already spoken to my wife, who is in your database, weāve had our three dogs groomed with you for years. Iāve been unhappy with Frankās customer service, who he constantly seems harried, and how our dogs have come back multiple times with their nails uncut, despite our paying for the āspa package.ā A simple āIām sorry youāre dissatisfiedā is all that was in order. Instead we got an earful of you defending yourself over the phone. And we werenāt even arguing with you. Please donāt call us again. Weāve moved on.
Edited once more: our vet said that the nails hadnāt been cut for at least 4 months. I have noticed after previous groomings that the nails hadnāt been cut as well⦠indeed, I didnāt report those because I donāt have time to chase down every little problem, and we gave you the benefit of the doubt. So the claim is hardly unwarranted. But this is not about that. Itās about your need to constantly and aggressively defend yourself. First that the vet was out of line, then that i donāt exist as a customer so I must be lying, now that Iām misstating the situation. When making my second appointment I specifically requested the same groomer because my pup loved her and she did an incredible job! I even waited 3 weeks for her next open appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by another groomer who let me know they were understaffed and she didnāt know who would be taking care of my dog. She said there were no notes, and the groomer I made the appointment with wasnāt there, so I showed her a photo of his last grooming. I was a little nervous but things happen. When I picked up my dog, I was told another groomer that I hadnāt met groomed him. He looked good, so I let it go again. When I got home and pet my pup he was covered in freshly cut fur. I had to give him a bath because both he and I were covered in it. After his bath when I dried him off I found a large patch of completely shaved fur on his belly. It was clearly a mistake. When I called back to see if he had been bathed, the promised they bathed him and hung up the phone. Itās sad because I was so happy the first go and this experience severely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been to another one of these Woof Gang Chains and received excellent service. First time coming to the one in Chester. Offered to deshed my lab, Sure. Offered to file the nail, sure. Total cost $100. Ok fine. They call me back 1.5hr later. I said that was quick as the last Woof Gang would spend about 2-3hrs on our lab without all extra services. Pick my lab up and as soon as I get home and pet him, he was shedding like crazy still. Nails didn't seem to be filed by much either. He was suppose to get a clip and file. Now I do bath my dog time to time as he needs medicated shampoo. I know for a fact after a bath him and blow dry him, he does not shed barely if any or that bad the time I brought him home. And one month after nail clippings and file, his nails still scratch up things. I just feel services received were sub par for a luxury Dog Spa/Grooming place, especially when I received same services from another chain. Maybe it was just the Groomer...
