Upon walking in I was greeted by Abraham and Jami. Jami gave very clear instructions about how the house runs and operates. You must cover or remove your shoes. Then sign a waiver for allergies and some other things that may happen when around cats. And youust sanitize your hands and pay $14/ person that all goes back to the cats' care.
While I was removing my shoes, which I loved doing anyway, Mr. Abraham wound around my feet and instantly began chatting. Me moved gracefully betweeny feet and my bonus daughter's feet.
Once we were in the main seating area, two more cats joined our trip, one's name was Chester. He's a black and white tuxedo polydactyl. He was all over the both of us. The other is a tuxedo as well and I don't remember his name.
Lounging in a nearby kitty hammock was an all black 🐈⬛ cat, Mr. Henry. And hiding behind me was Loki. We were joined by Adele. I believe she's the youngest of them all. In quarantine was their oldest, Ginger, she's 10. Relaxing on Jam's print was Arthur (I think). He was adorable too. He slept the whole time but got up once for water then back in the printer he went.
That accounts for 8 of the ten cats that live in the Café. Didn't see the other two as they were hiding out. So to end this, I'm adopting one of the handsome boys as my companion. He'll be home with me soon. Did I mention, Jami is amazing too!!! She is so kind and patient. And just the fact that she is helping the various shelters adopt out these amazing fur babies, says to me that she is in am amazing league of people. To her, thank for creating a wonderful, safe space for these babies.
Okay that's all!!! Go visit, adopt, relax, whatever you wish. It's a great place...
Read moreSuch a fantastic thing going on here!!. First visit today and we got to visit 10 cats. You pay $14 per person for a 50 minute session. They offer walk ins if they are not busy and reservations as well. The location is a house turned into a cat fun house. There is 2 floors with an open room downstairs and 3 separate, different designed rooms upstairs. Your welcome to roam around, sit and visit with the sweet cats. The cats are well behaved and just want some loves. The owner is so nice and easy to talk to. It is not much of a "Cafe " You have the option to purchase snacks (small bags of chips, popcorn ect..), tea or coffee from a kureg machine and bottled water or some soda from a mini fridge. There is cat hair everywhere but if your use to cats, it's not a concern at all. There are lint rollers and hand sanitizer to use. The atmosphere is very cat friendly and just feels relaxed. For there being 10 cats in the business I did not notice a bad smell at all. They offer a few items you can purchase to take home, I noticed some coffee mugs with sayings, collars, t-shirts and cat carrying bags. They offer punch cards for return customers. I will visit again and will definitely encourage others to check it out. Thank you for following your dream and sharing it with all...
Read moreJami- Thank you for opening Catz N Coffee Connections! It's a wonderful addition to Cheyenne. The Cafe is a super clean, cozy, and safe place to house cats waiting for their forever home. You're a kind soul! Jami is super friendly, explains the process in great detail, introduces each cat, ensures both the cats and visitors have a safe and comfortable visit, and periodically checks in with visitors. The cats are well taken care of. There are multiple food and water areas. They have tons of toys, windows to look out of, and tons of areas for them to climb or hide. Jami even took one of the cats to the vet to check on the cat's allergies. The cats were super loving. My husband and I definitely grew attached to a few of them during our visit. The coffee is delicious! The drinks and snacks are a nice addition. My husband and I loved every minute of our appointment! We're still talking about it, and recommending this cafe to everyone we know. We can't wait to come back. Please...
