Nails by Raven: I recently started getting my natural nails done by Raven and I have gotten so many compliments along the way! Raven is the type of person you’ll love because she tells it like it is. Because of this attribute, she will root you on to do whatever you want with your nails. And the best part about this is, you don’t have hold back on telling her exactly what you like or don’t like. I love getting pampered by Raven while sharing our stories and laughing with each other. Plus, she is fast and her work comes out flawless! Her hand and arm massages are to die for also!

I reached out on Facebook, requesting suggestions for a hairdresser good with color. Overwhelmingly, responding individuals reccommended Vicki at The One And Only Salon. So I made an appointment and showed up.

This is a single-chair salon in a quaint downtown neighborhood. It's kitchy and comfortable, tastefully decorated with pieces that reflect Vicky's spirited personality. I showed her photos of the color and cut I had in mind and she got down to business.

My hair is gorgeous. I've embraced my inner old broad and gone with silver. It suits me, is fairly easy to maintain, and my husband loves it. So it's a win-win.

Vicky also does nails, mani-pedis, and eyebrowswhich is a very good thing because mine will grow into a unibrow if left to their own devices. She stocks a vast array of beauty products, including handmade goat's milk-based soaps, lotions, and bath products.

Viki at The One and only is phenomenal at body waxing. My very first time she made sure i understood what was going to happen for each step. Answered any questions I had. 2nd waxing, even better!!! Christina at The One and only she has been doing my nails for while now. That’s my nail lady 100%. Christina takes her time. Does the designs or color you request. She always puts her clients first. Has a gentle touch. Most importantly she listens to her customers! I recommend Christina for all nail requests and pedicures.
