Olympus Games — Local services in Cheyenne

A nice small game shop in Cheyenne. This store was nice. My wife and I were greeted as we went into the door. The woman who served us was knowledgeable, kind, and talkative. We talked for a bit before she had to attend to another customer. The selection is small. They have the popular best selling gaming​ stuff and don't stray too far into oddities. They had books for D&D, Warhammer 40k, and a few other things. They have a nice selection of minatures. The prices there are on the higher end compared by many gaming stores. The environment was nice, looked clean, but there were also only two people playing a game, I think Warhammer 40k. It is hard to say what this place is like when packed for a MTG night. Olympus is my favorite store for traditional hobby supplies, roleplaying games, and events.

They have a great selection (and if they don't have what you're specifically looking for they are happy to order it) and a friendly staff.

I attend Wednesday nights for their Dungeons & Dragons as well as their Savage Worlds events. The events are only $2 each for a spot and go for 2 hours. At $1/hr it is incredible entertainment value for the money (especially when GM Drew is doing the voices for the southern housewife NPCs during East Texas University games) and they are willing to teach you if you haven't played before.

In addition to these events I've purchased a few Gundam models. They're fun kits to put together and they make a great display on my desk at work.

The selection of diversified gaming platforms is very wide, for the dungeon crawler gamer this is the place to go. The card players of the community will be very surprised and delighted due to the fact that Olympus games and comics has all the latest editions of the popular games such as Magic the gathering, and the like.
