When we called Rob, at Cruise Holidays, we had gotten news that our honeymoon cruise had been cancelled. We had just 25 days until sailing, and my husband and I were discouraged at the thought that booking a european cruise or any kind of vacation so close to sail date would mean that we were settling and getting less of an experience.

BOOKED!......100 days and counting.... next minute we were boarding and taking off from NYC Harbour! OMG what a trip/cruise! Rob and the team from the "get go" made it so easy to book, gave us options that were relevant to what we wanted, listened to what we needed. This was a low effort customer expereince on our part - nothing got us stressed out - all taken care of. During the 100 countdown the team contacted us to make sure small details were taken care of, stateroom allocation, deck number, at times I felt like we must have been their only clients! ALASKA NORWEGIAN CRUISE I was wary about using a travel agent to book the tours and excursions for our first ever cruise, but I decided to try these guys out (via Tripadvisor). Good decision. They took care of all the details of the trip, and even though I booked late, it still saved the long lines to book tours that I saw on the ship. I dealt with a few people, and in the end it was David who shepherded us through the final details - and that even involved a change of carrier as I had been too late for a particular tour. I asked lots of questions, always got honest and thought-through answers, and each of the tours happened on time, and as advertised. That was important, because we crammed two tours into two particular days, so everything had to be running on time.

I know, a cruise tour company in Chicago. Go figure. But their professionalism ensured that my wife and I had a great time, and we always felt that were something to go wrong, which it didn't, they would be able to sort it out.

Basically, a no brainer. And I'm not generally effusive.
