Precursor; I frequent this store and spend about $50/week here and many of the employees are amazing individuals, but this is not for one of those great people. Visited this store on 7.3.18 to find this product , not only not locked up, but also for a deal/wrong prince. When I approached an employee and expressed my interest in purchasing the product the discounted price, he called a manager. When the manager arrived, I was greeted with a harsh glare and the tone as if I had done something wrong. When I explained the situation and showed them visual evidence of the error- not only was I called a liar, I was yelled at and told various lies in order for them to try not to sell the product at the price they made an error on. I was told I was hawking the product, which, mind you should be locked up in a glass case in the department. So, not only is this review here, but I have contacted them about how they should maybe not treat customers so poorly, but to maybe take a better look at the job their employees are or are not doing. I feel incredibly disrespected and will NOT be coming back anytime soon. I would leave zero stars if possible. I will however, be respectful and not name...
Read moreSTAY AWAY from online shopping in Target, they have just a horrible system. Go to amazon for that. I bought an Iphone from them about 4 weeks ago and it never arrived in my hands. I called several times to their costumer service and first they told me to wait a few days, then I had to talk to a manager (who had a horrible attitude and began the conversation with "so... you lost our package huh..." it was obviously not a comfortable or useful conversation from then on... he said that he needed to talk to Fedex, then he told me I had to deal with Fedex, etc... At the end Fedex told me that they had left it somewhere by the house and that I had to deal with target from then on. The package was nowhere to be found...
This happened over the course of 4 weeks... I decided to just get a phone from amazon by the second week. I usually shop at Amazon due to their outstanding customer services but this time I decided to give Target a try because I love their stores. Online shopping with them is obviously not a great option! I will not make that mistake again... I ended up without an iphone and $160 short... I guess now I now where to go for my...
Read moreGiven the location, I'd expect higher prices, less variety, and more people. Instead, we found a Target similar to any other, right in the middle of State Street shopping. My wife was able to buy the same makeup she'd buy at home, only paying more in tax, to replace the components she didn't realize she was low on before we left. I was able to buy a Fire TV stick online and pick it up less than 20 minutes later. And the small grocery section meant we could take some food back to our hotel room to avoid eating out for every single meal while also not resorting to Pop Tarts or donuts every morning for breakfast as we might with only a convenience store nearby. Meanwhile the location appears to be plenty profitable, but it's not wall-to-wall people as many of the surrounding stores are, even over the weekend of the Taste of Chicago, with Grant Park just a few blocks away. I've been in much less convenient and useful locations outside of the city, although the consistent pricing appears to be the...
