At around 12 pm this afternoon, a store employee refused entry to a small child who was not wearing a mask. I asked her if she read GOV Bakers order in regards to face coverings, she became very combative telling me that she could refuse entry to anyone she wanted to for any reason. A friend offered the father who had difficulty speaking English a mask for his child- The child was around 5 and terrified of wearing the mask. I told the employee that they could not refuse entry to someone not wearing a mask due to a medical reason, she said she didn't care.I got over it until I noticed 3 employees working in the store not wearing masks and 3 more eating food at the registers- When I called it out I was told they would handle it- I however became very upset when the woman at the door who refused entry to a small scared child decided she was going to remover her mask so she could eat pizza.Besides the power tripping employees and the discrimination the store was disgusting, no sanitizer, no cleaning of carts or baskets, no one wiping down registers, bathrooms were closed off and there was no hand sanitizer for employees or customers to use to wipe of hands or carts.The store was clearly lacking adult management- When I spoke up I was threaten by 2 of the employees, Im not sure what they meant by , "we can clock out at any time and drop you out" but im gonna guess its ghetto for beat you up? I reported to the CPD and DPT of public health, just remember we are "all in this together" so if we have the follow the rules...then employees have to as well. I will NEVER FOR THE REMAINDER OF MY LIFE SPEND 1 SINGLE PENNY IN THIS LOCATION, EVEN IF IT IS THE LAST STORE OPEN ON THE PLANET- If you are going to stay open for the public you should deferentially become familiar with ever changing orders and social rules. To all those who plan to shop here I recommend going to WSpringfield, or Westfield, both clean, and great employees, who are educated and able to use...

I love visiting this store. They always have decorations for every holidays and I normally rack up. However I visit this store today with my mother and was totally appalled with what I heard. The manager there was stocking on an isle while having a conversation with a male that also worked there but wasn't at the store working at that moment. As she's conversing with the gentleman one of the cashiers called for help and annoyed she tells the male on the phone " ugh she's calling again" goes to check what she wanted at the end of that isle and comes back to critize the cashier to the gentleman on phone. I was taken aback considering it is her job as a manager to help her not to mention how unprofessional! She didn't care we were standing next to her and continued criticising the young lady. As I'm paying for my purchases at another register the young lady used the intercom to page her and the managers response as she's approaching the front in front of ALL the customers was " well you have to give me time to get here" it was clear she was annoyed and her tone said it all as well as the look on her face. The young lady proceeded explaining the issue, it was clear she was humiliaded. I felt horrible for her and wanted to say something to the manager but thought I'd give a complain on her profesionalism instead. I will visit another store. I was disgusted with her behavior. Shame on her, if that's how she treats her employees I rather not be a witness to it. I hope the young lady is okay and recognizes that she doesn't deserve to be treated that way and stands her ground. No job is worth being humiliaded in front of others. Great store with amazing selection of items all for one dollar! It would take me forever to write all the stuff you can get here but they have pretty much everything. Household items, electronics, food, office/art/crafts/school supplies, toiletries, automotive, vitamins, medicines, first aid etc. Huge selection of holiday items for every occasion. I get all my wrapping paper, gift bags and cards here every year. They also have a large variety of special occasion helium balloons to choose from and have filled while you wait.Tons of snacks and candies, perfect to get before you go to the cinema. Great place to bring kids or get them little gifts that won't break your bank. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Very busy store because of the incredible value...
