So I went to cricket store in childress today. My phone has been acting up and I went to get a new one. The girl working was one of the rudest people I've come across in a long time. She wouldn't let me look at the phone I was going to purchase until I paid for it first. I was told it was a new model 5 G phone. I said so what if I pay for it and don't like it want it, do I get a refund. She stated I would get a refund for the phone but not the $25.00 activation fee. So I reluctantly paid. I mean, I need a new phone. She got the phone and activated it and was done with me in 5 minutes. 5minutes!!!! I'm still sitting there because I didn't know she was finished. She said " do you need something else" ? Got to my car and she hadn't even finished the activation. She was leaving in her car when I went back in the store. The guy finished the activation process and as I was telling him how rude she had been he said I wasn't the only one complaining about her. So I get home, looked at the box the phone came in and she gave me a 4G phone NOT the 5g she told me I was buying. Called back down there and was told they were sorry but there was nothing they could do without it costing more money. Why?? Why should I have to pay more money? I paid what she said the 5g phone cost. Nothing like getting ripped off and being told basically oh well!! I have no complaints about cricket service but the employee at the childress store...
