Worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. I understand it’s a Golden Chick in BFE, but this employee behavior is unacceptable. My husband ordered a meal and I ordered a drink (charged $2.99) with a side of fries for my meal (also charged $2.99). The employees only gave my husband his meal, and when I tried to speak up and tell them my meal was not in the bag, they told me they just “added extra into his plate” for me to eat off of his plate instead of giving me my own meal, that I was charged $2.99 on my receipt for. That isn’t a big deal, and had they simply corrected the issue politely (take some notes from Chick-Fil-A on this one) I wouldn’t have minded AT ALL. The disrespect I was met with when I tried to speak up and ask that I have my own plate was embarrassing on behalf of this establishment. Then, the employees went back into the kitchen and continued to mumble and moan that they put plenty of food on his plate for me to eat off of. Multiple other guests in the lobby were making faces and rolling their eyes and chuckling at the employees as they said this- that a paying guest should just eat their meal off of another person’s plate, as if giving me my own plate or to go box for my food would bankrupt the entire establishment. It is truly laughable, but, I hope someone who is in charge here lets their employees know they need to be respectful and not continue to talk about customers behind the counter after THEY made a mistake. One of the other employees (who was not the very disrespectful middle aged woman) overheard and gave me my own food, like I ordered, and apologized. We just took our food outside and ate in the car because we felt so uncomfortable being talked about in the dining area. I have stopped at this location twice and both times could not go inside to order. When your in an oversized vehicle you cannot exactly go through the drive through. This last time we walked up during the day and was surprised the inside was closed. A lady came up and slapped a "drive through only sign" on the door and wouldn't acknowledge us standing there at the door. We waited in the drive through standing there and the other girl did help us. When I asked her why the inside is closed she said because they are short staffed. I saw a cook leaning against the wall literally doing nothing the whole time we were there and another lady filling the orders. Three employees. Maybe I'm wrong but that was enough for us to run a taco bell back in my days. Enough to run a burger joint back in my days. Not sure if it's just laziness or what but someone needs to take note of this. And the fact that we tapped on the door for the lady to help us and she just walked off like screw you was not coop. Other issue is they didn't get our order right so we had to go back to get it corrected. Also the first time we went they were out of Lotta zing sauce and salads. Also didn't have sweet tea. Read moreI stopped going to this restaurant years ago because of horrible customer service. I gave it a shot about a month ago and the customer service was really fantastic. However, today I went to get food and it was like a hostage negotiation. They couldn't "give [me] # of XYZ but could do # of XYZ" on everything. I was told the following: I could only buy 4 tenders if i wanted, they didn't have anymore. I was told I could only get the 10 pc and mixed (roasted and fried, dark meat only) because there wasn't enough of any of the chicken. I couldn't get 12 rolls but could get 6. It was beyond frustrating, I finally I ordered the 10 pc dark mixed tp get to the window and find out the roasted was all dried up. They said they were too short staffed to cook anything else.🙄 Then why was the restaurant open? And chicken tenders only have to be dropped in the fryer so why weren't they? I canceled my order. I'm almost positive that was what they wanted. The employee had no cares to give. The one thing that has been fairly consistent at this place is inconsistency. Bad service coming in a close second.
