I have been shopping at this location since it opened. I’ve never once had a bad experience either. But, my husband and I went in the other day to shop for some funeral clothes. He went into the men’s dressing room and accidentally left our car keys in there. We went and checked out, and then obviously realized we didn’t have our car keys so he went back to the dressing room to check first. I went out into the area where the sliding doors are and a bench to sit and wait. After 5-7 minutes, I seen him walk up to the return area so I knew he hadn’t found them yet. After he waited for a few minutes, I seen he was talking to a male associate but I noticed his body language looked “off” so I got up to go see what was going on. I walked back in and went up to him and he was clearly upset, which to be completely honest he doesn’t get upset easily so I knew something wasn’t right. I then asked what was the issue? And the associate named “MIKE” immediately got an attitude with me. Listen, I understand there might be “7 other Chevrolet keys” (Mikes words) behind the counter Mike, but my husband and I both described our car key to you, and even said they would’ve just been turned in within the last 10-20 minutes, so why would you even put them with the “other 7 Chevrolet keys..?) Either Mike lacks common sense, or something else, but we repeatedly told him what they looked like and at that point he was holding the keys hostage which is straight up theft. A random male customer then stepped out of the checkout line to speak up to tell “Mike” that HE was the one who personally turned in the keys and that Mike needed to hand them over instead of arguing and being unprofessional. Mike lunged towards me while still talking loudly and ignorantly, and my husband had to reach out and physically grab our car keys from him. We wanted to leave at this point obviously, it was getting heated and disorderly and people were staring. Put yourself in our shoes! THIS IS ALL ON CAMERA TOO!!! I know people say this all the time, but we will NEVER shop at this store again. That associate is a piece of “you know what” and has no business working there. Apparently he’s a floor manager too, which is worrisome to me. How on earth do you guys hire people like this…? He should be fired or maybe not working on the floor around your customers. He can’t handle it clearly. All he had to do was hand us our car keys and say here you go bye. I already called corporate and spoke to someone there, not sure if anything will happen, but you know what..? That’s perfectly fine because I can make a Google review, and I can choose not to give this company my money. Simple. I hope this doesn’t happen to a customer that “gets mad easily or snaps” but what goes around comes around. (: That guy is a walking time bomb, mark my words. I would love if the General Manager or whoever wanted to reach out to me to talk, but I know I’m just going to get a response on here towards this review from “Kohls Owner” and it’ll say something generic, which generic completely sums up Kohls now, so that...
Read moreI had some issues with the credit department and was told to contact the store for additional information. Applied for a credit card, screen went crazy and approved, but there was no information and so I panicked. After 3 cc customer service reps telling me the same thing...I always need others to verify...I contacted the Kohl’s Store and the most pleasant ladies answered the phone! First Miss Jeanie(sure hope I spelling her name right or “nn”) answered and she atutomatically made me feel more comfortable calling. So helpful and so reassuring that she would get an answer for me. You have no idea just how much I appreciated this! Then when Miss Telissa answered the phone, just as pleasant and gave me the answer I was needing! No one else had explained he process to me as she just did a few minutes ago! Not even the credit card department! Thank you ladies for being so wonderful over the phone! Haven’t been to Kohl’s forever and plan on...
Read moreWent to do Christmas shopping with a friend. She was buying a $100 bottle of perfume for a gift. Nothing else just the perfume. When we went to check out the cashier told her if she applied for and got approved for their store card she would save 40% off of it. She applied was approved and then the cashier told her that perfume was excluded from that offer. That was a pretty sneaky trick in my eyes to trick you into getting their card. She said well then cancel the card because I only got it to get 40% off the perfume like you just said I would. She said she cant and that my friend would have to do it later. We weren't happy so she got the manager who proceeded to take 30% off which was better then nothing but not the 40% promised. If you enjoy shopping there by all means continue but be aware of the sneaky tricks they may pull on you...
