This tiny, unprepossessing place has a damn big assortment of hats.

Unfortunately for me they only seem to carry hats with turned-up brims, and I was looking for a traditional-brimmed and/or crushable fedora.

I talked with the owner's son, friendly young Enrique Jr. (photo), about rebanding a hat that I currently own, and Enrique and colleagues went out of their way to help me out.

My husband and I bought new hats at another store and ended up having to get them shaped somewhere else. We went to Enrique and he was GREAT! really personable, he let me watch him shape the hats since it was my first purchase. His store is cozy and authentic.
