My wife and I made our first visit to the Findlay Market area. We were extremely pleased with Eckerlin’s. Staff were so friendly. My wife enjoys German foods and I do too but a young man behind the counter said the burger is the best. My wife enjoyed her bratwurst and I did get the burger. It was a burger that could be on a weekly rotation for me. Delicious, juicy and the trimmings were just right. Loved the hand cut fries made in house. If you are a person that loves going to the county fair and getting the hand cut fries this is the place for you. They were great! If you are a Culver’s crinkle cut super crispy fry… these are not the ones, you can taste potato with the Eckerlin fries. My wife inquired about their Goetta… next thing we know they fried up a sample and gave it to us. Don’t pass...

There is a guy behind the counter here who can read minds! I really can't figure it out how he pulled this off?

I had an experience where I purchased 1/2 pd pulled pork, 6 pk hot dog buns, & a 10 pk deli buns. Just before I checked-out, I thought in my head that I can probably skip the deli buns because the package contained a few more than what I needed (I still had some left over from last week).

No lie. Without me saying a word, this guy asked if I needed some of the deli buns removed from the packet? I said Yes, a little caught of guard that was even an option.

As I drove home, what baffled me even more was how he was able to pick up that thought I was having in my head at that very moment?? 🙂 Love this place! So Fresh! So Clean!...

my family and I have been going here for years. they make the best goetta around with a great flavor. the goetta is not too salty and not greasy. we also love the sausages, steaks and poultry. on every visit, we like to take home pin wheels. they are prepared steaks stuffed with cheese and mushrooms. they are so delicious cooked on a griddle or cast iron skillet. this year Eckerlin moved locations and added a meat tasting room. we're super excited about this and we tried it for the first time today. the burger was excellent and the fries were very well prepared. good...
