Do not shop here. They charge way too much for too little. I thought I was in good hands when I went through the ring design and purchasing process, but I now see that I was taken for a sucker due to my youth and inexperience. Do not make the same mistake that I made. You can get much nicer REAL diamond rings for much cheaper at any pawn shop.

After designing and purchasing an engagement ring from this store, I was unexpectedly placed in a situation where I no longer had use of the ring I bought. As you can imagine, this was an extremely trying time for me, the most stressful part of my life so far. I reached out to this business as they were the place I bought from, in the hopes that they might buy the ring back at a lower price or would put it up for consignment in their shop. I had no idea what else I could do. First I emailed; I didn't get a response. Then I called and was promised by a receptionist that the owner was busy but would email me back by the end of the next day or two. This did not happen. What followed, after me calling and emailing a lot, was a few months of sporadic emails from the owner, all of which were wishy-washy, saying things like, "I'm working towards finding a solution." Again, I stated at the outset of my emails that all I wanted was maybe a buyback at a reduced price (I was not expecting anything close to a refund), or getting the ring up for consignment in the store.

After months and months, I made one last call, where I was told the owner would call me back the next day with a decision. The day came and went with no call. Then I posted a Google review, giving Lane & Kate 1 star. The next day I got a call from the owner, and finally I was given the offer of them putting the ring up for consignment in the shop. This told me all I needed to know about what was going on. I was only valued as a customer after the public image of the store was put in jeopardy. I emphasize, this was a really hard and stressful situation I was in, and I was treated extremely poorly. In the time I wasted trying to find a solution with Lane & Kate, I could've found another place to resolve my problem. All that time was wasted, and I was needlessly stressed out more than I already was. All that time! And I had to publically complain just to just get consignment (which another jeweler who I did not know at all offered me over the phone after ONE call), which is all I was asking for from the start! So unprofessional.

And during the last call, they heavily implied that they wanted me to take down their one-star review in exchange for them finally offering me something. Very scummy.

Here's the kicker. The places I took my ring to in the hopes I could sell it offered me AT MOST 7% of what I paid at Lane & Kate. Lane & Kate charges real diamond prices for synthetic diamonds. Actually, they charge significantly more, no doubt due to the "custom nature" of the design process. But, I'm sorry, custom is not worth a 93% up-charge, it's highway robbery. Now I see why Lane & Kate didn't want to buy my ring back, they didn't even consider it. I would have realized how much they had ripped me off, their offer would have been insultingly low for what I paid upfront. In the end, I sold my ring on Facebook Marketplace for around 15% of what I initially paid. STAY AWAY from here....

Ellana was so helpful when it came to finding the perfect design for an engagement ring. Once we finalized the design, Ellana and I met a few times to find the perfect diamond. This is where Ellana’s expertise truly shined. She brought in great options every time and took notes on what I liked/did not like. My favorite part is that she did not make me feel pressured at all when we were picking the right diamond. Once we finalized the diamond, the process was super easy and her communication was great!

Once it was time for the wedding bands, Ellana had great suggestions on what would look the best with the engagement ring. She also took the center diamond on my wife’s grandmother’s ring and had it set in a stunning diamond necklace.

We truly love working with Ellana at Lane & Kate. She is so amazing and look forward to working with her on future...

I can’t say enough about Lane and Kate. Everything from the first visit until after I proposed was amazing. Ellana answered all the questions I had. My fiancé and I were curious about moissanite and after talking with Ellana we decided we wanted to go with a lab grown diamond. That was my fiancés last visit. Ellana then met with me multiple times, and sent me renderings of the ring along the process. She helped guide me but allowed me to have some creative freedom with designing and was transparent with pricing. She was a pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to get our wedding bands from her. My fiancé gets compliments all the time about her engagement ring and it’s such a pleasure knowing I was able to get a truly one of a kind ring, because I helped design it. Also she has great fashion jewelry for all price ranges. Do yourself a favor and don’t even waste the time at a chain, support this small, woman owned business who will make you feel like the most important person in the world...
