Pet Wants Cincy Kitchen on Vine St. — Local services in Cincinnati

There are no words for the level of customer service at ANY of the locations I have visited. It is a whole other lever of service. I am so glad I found this place. My review won't do this place any justice because I am just a customer, but I hope it helps. I have a Labrador and a German Shepard, both are very food driven. But ever sense I moved to Cincinnati and was fortunate to live a block away from this place, I gave it a try. From the very first day we moved in, on our first walk of the neighborhood, we stumbled into this store and OMG. We can't go for a walk now without these two literally pulling me in that direction because they know they will be treated with a COVERED SMILE and a TREAT. They absolutely love the switch to the PET WANTS BRAND. They were getting Fromm dog food and the transition was simple and painless. The energy lever has improved and they can't wait to eat. When I needed a diet plan for my Lab, they offered tips that were free and saved me Vet a vet bill. Now my boy is clearly feeling better and happy. When my GS had a sick belly, they offered FREE tips and WALA, all better 24 hours later. I don't plan on staying here long, but I do hope they are were ever I do move and if not, I hope they will ship. I eat well, and I want my dogs to eat AS WELL. Thank you PET WANTS. My cat has never been happier than when I switched to food that they recommended here. She used to have digestive issues and had to have "digestive" foods such as those found at Petco The owner of the Pet Wants store on Vine street informed me that the food she has been getting from stores like Petco are ground up, no ingredients altered. The idea is to have more real foodz less processed. She absolutely goes crazy when I feed her now. She used to leave half her food in the bowl but now it's all gone. Her coat looks better and she is not itching as she did before. I discovered also that the food at Petco might be sitting in a warehouse for over a year. I opened one packet and found it discolored and when I brought it back and told them what happened they didn't do anything about it. It will never shop at Petco again. The staff after a few visits already knew me and managed to order my cat's food to make sure it was always in stock I have never ever experienced that at any other pet storeanywhere. These folks...

I waltzed in here the other day with my pup and it was just the best experience. My pup has been having some huge digestive issues (she’s super picky and I was trying to make her food at home which was not going well). Anyway, I felt so so welcome — The owner/staff gave her some jerky as she gave me a super transparent overview of their sourcing and food making processes AND some free samples to see if she would like them.. which she has just DEVOURED both the kibble and the beef stew. We also walked out with some of that jerky which she adores as a midday snack. Honestly so grateful I found this place bc I’m not a chef but I want my pup to eat good quality food she loves.
