The Cave — Local services in Citrus Heights

A random assortment of hidden treasures from the 90s all through today. I would be cautious of the random pokemon card packs they sell as you will likely get nothing useful. Clothes could use a better organizing systems as they are all hung up so randomly it's as though the staff were told to hang all the clothes up in 5 minutes or lose their jobs! Staff were friendly. The store does use a strange "everything in the store 50% off all the time" marketing scheme. Just cut all the prices in half and sell everything that way rather than make all your customers do math...

Walked in and there were 3 staff members standing at the front of the store automatically asked me to leave my purse at the front because it's a mini backpack style of purse. "No backpacks" huh? That policy is typically made for high school kids who walk in with huge backpacks, not for 40 yr old moms coming in with their adult kids to buy stuff. I walked right out and decided I will never go back just because it's a really lame rule. Who leaves their personal belongings at the front of any store? My wallet is in there...

The Cave Outlet in Citrus Heights used to be one of my favorite spots to shop. Everything was 50% off, and the constantly changing selection made every trip worth it. But over time, that outlet feel has faded. They no longer offer storewide half-off deals, yet the inventory hasn’t changed enough to make up for it. It’s starting to feel more like just another Cave store, yet they’re still carrying outlet items.
