Every time I go to Burger King on Greenback Lane, and I'll admit it's only about once every other month, I get lousy service. A black woman there who is at the front counter always has an attitude. Maybe she just doesn't like white women, who knows. But she also sabotages my order. Once I decided to try the drive thru to see if the experience would be different and I got the same woman! I asked for a hamburger with mayo only. When she said, "Do you want cheese on that" I said, "No, I asked for mayo only. Just the bun, the meat, and mayonnaise." When I got to the window I saw it was the same woman and she acted like she knew who I was too. When I got my order I pulled over into a parking space to check it, knowing she's screwed with it, and the hamburger had everything on it. I'm convinced she thought I wouldn't notice until I got home but I went inside and asked for the Manager. She was actually especially nice, but also a white woman so maybe the black woman with the attitude didn't like her either, because when I told her what happened she said, "I heard you say that. I was standing by her when she took your order." So the Manager also knew the woman who took my order did it intentionally. I decided to boycott Burger King for quite a few months then went back day before yesterday. IT WAS THE SAME WOMAN AT THE COUNTER INSIDE. I don't know if she has a clone or what, but it seems she's there ALL the time and works the front counter and the drive through. I asked for a Jr. Whopper this time and asked whether the meat patty was bigger than the regular hamburger and she said yes. I paid, this women went to the back to talk with the girl making the hamburgers, and guess what I found when I got my order? A regular hamburger even though I was charged twice that for a Jr. Whopper. It's just never ending with this chick. She has a giant chip on her shoulder and although I've reported these kinds of incidents to the owner of that particular restaurant, nothing is ever done about her. ...
Read moreTLDR: Complete disregard for health code, horrible customer service, and gotta love them taking the “fast” out of fast food.
While there was a sense of acrimony from the cashier as I quietly walked up to the counter to place my order, interrupting their conversation with a co-worker about some post on instagram, I think the worst thing about my visit was after I had ordered my food.
As I got my drink, I noticed that the lids were all dirty and covered in various “substances” so I threw a few in the trash in consideration of anybody else that grabbed one after me. Shortly after I witnessed an employee grab the cup lids I had tossed and place them back on the stack. I suddenly understood why they were dirty.
Once I received my food, I noticed the burger I had ordered was missing cheese, so remembering my prior experiences in the food industry forgetting stuff off other people’s order, I politely informed one of the employees. They were nicer than the cashier and took the burger back; however, they placed the bun that I had taken a bite out of on top of the lettuce and added a slice of cheese before handing it back to the employee that gave it back to me. For those unfamiliar, this is a bit of a health code violation. Once food has left the kitchen, it should never return except to go in the trash. For all they know I could have the T-Virus and would have infected all their lettuce by resting the bun in the bin with it.
While I do not blame the employee for ignoring my tip, I have to say I am very disappointed in management. When I reached out they just accused me of wanting free food. Correction, I never want to return, I just don’t want anybody else visiting there to get sick.
Needless to say, please take the outdated decor as a sign of a place that simply doesn’t care and...
Read moreHonestly I usually have a good experience in BK, but today was def. Something that would make anyone never come back. I work from 6pm-6am and knowing that BK opens at 7am it was perfect timing to visit the location near home in citrus heights/sunrise. I arrived around 7:05 and went through Drive thru. Nobody spoke. I figured it may be still quite early and the workers aren't quite ready. I pulled to the side and waited about 10 mins. By 7:15 I decided to try and see if maybe they had opened the main entrance. Again, it was locked and everything looked like nobody is yet there. Right before giving up I saw a girl pass by to the back of the store. She saw me and kept walking. I didn't made a huge deal, she probably was running late or covering for whomever was supposed to open that was clearly not showing on time. 10 more minutes pass, it's 7:25 going on 30, the door is still locked, so I figured maybe this girl will have DT available at the least, since it's been half an hour since the business has "opened". Once again nothing. I pulled to the window, and couldn't see anybody. No signs of any machines being turned on and def. No workers anywhere to be seen. All I wanted was some kind of info about when they would actually serve food. I'm tired, hungry and impatient. After 30 minutes past their "opening" hour with no response, I decided to leave and go get something else. Waste of my time, and their loss of a customer. Shows how poorly staffed and unprofessional they are that this kind of joke of timing even happened. Next time at least have a realistic time sheet or at least train your workers to say "hey sorry we won't be opening for another hour" or something. At least I wouldn't have wasted my time waiting for nothing. I would give no stars...
