How to say this without sounding like a NIMBY... I live in the neighborhood directly across the street and am fed up. According to the event center's Conditional Use Permit granted by the city, there is supposed to be no music after 10 PM. However, this place violates that rule constantly. It has gone all the way to 1 AM before. The guests also leave the doors open when they aren't allowed to, letting all the noise inside bleed out into the neighborhood. Calls to the police non-emergency line are pointless.
This place also seems to attract the trashy DUI element, because after festivities end around 12 or 1 AM, the guests rev the engines of their lifted trucks and speed away down the street, burning rubber and disturbing the peace of everyone on Arcadia Drive.
It's totally ridiculous that an event center was even approved to operate in an existing neighborhood. It's one thing if the owners followed the terms of the Use Permit they agreed to, but they...
