Vincent's Eat-Paint-Love Studio, LLC — Local services in City of Beacon

Very disappointed in this service which was held outside the studio at ta private event. Your website advertised the following: "Includes:

A professional and FUN artist that will walk your party through the steps needed to paint the masterpiece of your choice 2 Hour Party that includes roughly an Hour 1/2 of guided painting instruction {leaving lots of time to PAINT + PARTY } We come to you with LOTS OF FUN + all your supplies; Aprons, Brushes, Easels, 16 x 20″ Canvases, Paper Towels + Water Cups We will arrive in enough time to set up prior to your scheduled party time " of which we received the following:

a cheap white paper plate with 5 drops of 5 different color pains on it, and I mean drops! cheap used paint brushes a plastic cup filled with water to rinse the brushes.

The instructor guidance was simply to draw two circles on the glasses that was our object, as we were drawing a mardi gras mask . Then not much else to speak of after that! It ended up being a do what you want type of paint and sip.

Mind, you the host of the party actually supplied her guest with all of the glasses that were to be painted, and the punch. The room was already set up so it took all of 10 mins. to drop paint on a paper plate. Hence for 36.00+ that was paid per person we expected to leave with a glass and all the extra paint that we paid for.

Not to mention the owner was very unresponsive in communicating to the host, and I told her then she should have just used her niece who does this type of thing virtually, and does a heck of a job compared to what we received on Jan. 9th from this service. YOU OWE ALL OF US SOME TYPE OF REFUND FOR THIS LOUSY SERVICE. AND A APOLOGY TO THE HOST WHO RETAINED YOU FOR NOT BEING MORE RESPONSIVE...

BEWARE, DO NOT GO HERE!! ZERO STARS I purchased 2 tix for a class in which was cancelled the night before... ok, no problem, they issued me a credit towards a future class because they don't offer refunds. I picked a new date/class to utilize my credits, and that class was also cancelled the night before on their behalf! Now this is two times they cancelled on me and due to my schedule it's hard to find another one that works for me, so I write and email requesting a refund. I mean its only fair since they cancelled on me, not once but TWICE and I tried rescheduling, RIGHT?? After back and forth with the manager, I ask to speak with the owner to resolve this. The owner emails stating she will not issue a refund and will not come to a resolution with me, also stating that she is a mom n pop shop. Well, from the ones I know, a mom n pop shop would never do this to a customer!! Now I can see why they don't have enough painters to host a class.. I wonder how many other people have lost their money due to their cancellations. DON'T GO HERE, SPREAD THE WORD. They are making such a lovely town "Beacon" look bad. ...

My son had a paint party at this studio, for his 8th birthday .The party had a small intimate group of 12 people. Claudia, the owner, was fantastic. She was communicative throughout the entire arrangement and even helped set up for the event with drinks, decor, and so on. I appreciate the fact that we were allowed to bring our own food and drinks.

Without the Artist (whose name I can't recall) the party would not have been a success; Her patience with the children was out of this world, as she handled ages 4 to 12, keeping them attentive and having fun!

The location is quite busy, especially on weekends, but it is conveniently located in between two free parking lots. I highly recommend this studio for a fun paint session or...
