Awesome night out! The vibes are immaculate between the retro games, variety of events throughout the month, and the positive energy throughout. Service was good and bartenders handled the Saturday night crowd well.
We came for the Dance Independent Electronic Artists Showcase. The artists fit the vibe well and there was something for everybody. The song selection was great, my group was singing along to every song.
Drink variety is awesome! We tried the Pink Starburst, Danimals, and Apple Jax shots. Love the nostalgic, well thought out themed drinks. Me and my friend also got the Sex on the Koopa Troopa Beach and the Goo Lagoon (pictured). The drinks were great, worth the price. They come with a cute little candy but we ate those hehe.. They do have a limited selection of domestic beers and could probably expand this a bit.
We did not get a chance to try any food but I have heard great things about it. They also have a reasonably priced vending machine with little snacks like chips, candy, Little Bites, etc.
The variety of games is so exciting and there is a game for everybody. Games are reasonably priced and strategically spread out around the bar to avoid crowding and keep ample space between patrons. My only complaint is that games like Dance Dance Revolution are finicky as they are older. My friend tried to play on a more advanced level and the machine wasn’t picking up her movements. We are very understanding that these games are older and this did not bother us too much.
Overall, awesome place for a night out in the Hudson Valley especially if the crowded club/bar scene isn’t...

I visited at about 1pm on a nice Sunday and it was practically empty. Lots of tables and seating. The bar had a good variety including about 8ish beers on tap. Prices were about $7-9 each...there are also mixed drinks and other cocktails available which were about $11. They also have some food items you'd expect from a place like this: tots, pizza, chicken tenders...which ranged from $7-10.
Many of the arcade games were older: Donkey Kong, Centipede, Area 51, Street Fighter, Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat and others. Most of the arcades were working. They run on quarters, which there was a machine which exchanged bills for coins toward the back.
There is an outdoor space with a bunch of picnic-style benches.
All staff there were friendly. Adequate parking on the street...I'd imagine you can get a spot on the main street within a block or two away, even on a busy...
Read moreWhat a fun place! And for all ages too! My husband is a retro video game fiend and this palace definitely hit the spot. We've been to a similar bar/arcade in Bennington, VT a few years ago that has since closed so we were happy to find this gem.
The games are only $0.25. Nothing like Dave and Busters where you'll pay a few dollars per game. They have a limited bar type menu for food which we didn't try but it's there if you want it. We tried a couple different drafts, which seemed to be local to the area. I also tried the mixed drink with a shot of fireball in a pint of hard cider. I really enjoyed it and it reminded me of fall. Ohhh, add a cinnamon sugar rim and bam!
There's also a night courtyard out front that we enjoyed a drink on because the weather was perfect. We're already planning our...
