Extremely rude service attitude of both waitresses!!

Possibly Asian discrimination!

There was super hot outside, and when we seat down, they didn't provide us any water. ALL other tables have that 5L glass of water + cups. After I asked them for water, they only provided us a big 5L glass of water without any cups. I have a bottle so I can use that bottle for drinking, but there are still two other family members need cups!

During the order process, when my mother wanted to order a crepe from the special menu, the waitress keep saying “ No!” “No!””No!” instead of saying things like “This one is sold out.” or “ We don’t have this today”. Keep saying “No!” with that awful attitude and without any explainations was rude.

During the meal, I stood up to go to the restroom on the left side, the waitress yelled behind me saying “You shouldn’t take water by yourself!! I will take for you!!” However, I even didn’t walk to the refrigerator of water on the right side, my destination was the restroom on the left side. And she never apologizes for this rude behavior.

The whole experience was...

I had a very interesting experience here at Royal Crepes. The staff didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the menu and its offerings, based on the two interactions I had with them.

1.) I was curious what the staff’s recommendation was - a grilled veggie + feta crepe versus the salmon. The cashier told me that he didn’t know how the veggie one tasted because he “does not eat vegetables”. I was astonished at that answer because vegetables are so delicious. Besides that, they couldn’t provide much detail about the salmon besides that it was “cooked”. Not very helpful.

2.) My sister-in-law has a gluten allergy and we thought RC would be a good option because they offered a ‘gluten-free’ crepe. We asked what other ingredients were in the GF crepe and the cashier went to the back to check the bag. Strangely, he told us it was made from “whole wheat” and a “bunch of other stuff.”

The lack of knowledge and apathy was too disappointing for us to eat here and ultimately went to Ziatun and had a...

Considering this was during the time of a global pandemic we were simply glad to have a business open. AND it was Memorial Day. The owner was there and the other customers were polite and we all did our social distancing without problem. The crepes themselves were amazing!!! Many different options to add or subtract from your order. You can see them being prepared which is nice when people are concerned about how their food is made. We didn’t take advantage of the coffee but it smelled great. There was also a cool selection of what looked like foreign brands of snack cookies and confections. If in Beacon and you want to have a great breakfast you can get one there also. Yeah take it with you and you can give it a try as well. And of course their sweet crepes are wonderful as well. Skip the donut shop get a crepe trust me! I like when a business owner shows interest in there customers as well as their...

Absolutely love their crepes! The sugar lemon and nutella is a must try. However, if you do come here, DON’T COME ON A WEEKEND. Though I mainly come here on weekdays, the reason why I don’t recommend coming here on a weekend is because it gets really busy and they don’t let you do self serve. I came on a weekend once and it took at least 30 minutes for my order to be ready, almost taking up my time. The same day I brought some of my friends here; we requested for myself and my friends to pay separately; they stated that they already had it in a system and refused to let us pay separately. It doesn’t hurt to change it. Weekdays are much more easygoing than on weekends. Overall, I recommend coming to this place, weekdays only!

The food at this establishment was absolutely delicious, and the service was truly excellent. The atmosphere of the place was also great, making for a wonderful overall experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I had the Turkish coffee, which was amazing, paired with a sweet pastry that was equally delightful. My wife enjoyed the chicken and ham crepe, which was good, but the real standout was the sweet crepe my son had, featuring Nutella and strawberry - it was really good. As for me, I ordered the meat stew with beans, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The waitresses were top-notch, always attentive and ensuring our needs were met throughout our meal.

I’ve never before eaten crepes in my 33 years of being alive. So I was nervous. Well let me just say I was thoroughly impressed and blown away by how delicious the cinnamon roll crepe I had was! It was so delightful! The place was intimate and cozy! I especially enjoyed being able to watch my crepe being prepared! I ate too quickly to take a picture but it came with whipped cream and powdered sugar! They had such a large variety of various crepes organized on the menu by sweet and savory! The portion was decent for the price! I want to bring all my friends to try this place! It is definitely worth it and a nice Sunday spot to enjoy a little breakfast or lunch!
